CO is hauntingly beautiful. I remember driving there the first time. When I passed leaving New MX sign and came to the Welcome CO sign, I looked over to my left and the montains, the view right there in front of me out my car window, I had to momentarily pull over because tears were pouring down my face.
I took my bucket list trip to Colorado last year with my wife for the first time in peak Fall season. I visited Aspen, Vail, and Telluride..which was my favorite. This gives everyone a perfect vision of what Colorado is in Fall.. perfection. What you captured here along with the music score is simply beautiful!! My advice to anyone who has been wanting to go to Colorado is to plan the trip as soon as possible..life changing!!
1. What is the best time to visit Colorado to view this fall color? 2. I believe the shot at 00:29 is on Last Dollar Road, Telluride. Is it okay if I just drive a sedan or SUV there (I don't have a 4-wheeler)?
Colorado fall colors vary a lot depending on the elevation and yearly weather but mid-September through mid-October is the best time. That overlook is accessible with a 2WD vehicle as long as it hasn't rained or snowed heavily, beyond the overlook is 4WD high-clearance.
This is the best video of colorado I've ever seen. Thank you for sharing. Amazing! Could you let me know what camera and lens do you use for these? Thanks!
Thank you! This was shot with a variety of Sony cameras and lenses including the a900, a7R, NEX-7, and a7RII. Right now I'm on an a7RIII with Sony FE 16-35 f/2.8, 24-105 f/4, and FE 100-400.
Hey man I somehow found this on TH-cam and I live in Springs.. You killed it. I shared a link to this video on about twenty Facebook groups in Colorado Springs. So hopefully you can get some subs and make more! Insane dude good job. It would be cool to see some of Breckinridge, Pikes peak, Cheyanne Mountain (zoo, city, norad) Aspen would also be a cool spot and Pueblo Revisor come to mind. Hope you can keep making these!

Nothing beyond the usual: Maroon Bells, Crystal Mill, Crested Butte, Telluride. Check out TheOutbound.com for some options within those areas.

Would love to see some commentary in the description regarding what some of those places are named. Like 1:45 for example.
Oops. I mean 1:40. And 1:50.
1:40 is the Castles near Ohio Pass, 1:50 isn't a location I share publicly.
1Mio dollars, and I can live there ...
you and me both...
