And as for a side note about the power heads not being covered under warranty, that is technically true but exceptions can be made on a case by case basis depending on the use and what happened with the power head, they have pretty good customer support. Also would love to see Shark bring back multi-cyclonic jets into their vacuums.
Thanks..had been wondering about those filters as the thicker white piece looked like a piece of foam...almost thought it was packing material.bought one & love it.
Just purchased this unit LA500wm for $149.99 at Walmart. At this price would you have had a more favorable option of the vacuum? I've only used it once but it was a positive experience. Yet, I would consider returning it if there was something better available at this price point. I appreciate your comments and informative reviews. I'll be watching the brush head review next.
I’ve had a shark vacuum for over 10 years and in the last few months the head just started acting up. I actually had made a warranty claim a long time ago and shark never gave me a problem. I’ll only buy shark vacuum’s. My last one lasted me so long.
It's likely it's just stiff from being new. Though after reviewing this machine I've concluded it's a terrible vacuum. So my recommendation would be ideally to return it and get a better vacuum. Otherwise just put your foot on the front and push down until the vacuum reclines. Also note, the review on this vacuum is a separate video. Technically this would be the "initial view" as opposed to "review"

You can forget about longevity with the newer ones.

4 to 8 hours or 48 hours to dry the 2 square filters?
48. Two days, possibly one day depending on how dry your area is.
Awesome Vacuum! :)
