The Marshall Plan - 75th Anniversary

This year markets the 75th anniversary of the enactment of the Marshall Plan, officially known as the European Recovery Program. Former United States Secretary of State George C. Marshall called for a coordinated European effort to recover from WWII, to address food insecurity, lack of shelter, and to rebuild infrastructure to secure Europe’s future. Through the Marshall Plan, Americans and Europeans together contributed to the revival of Europe after WWII.
