I have several Lautrec prints and posters. While I already know much of his story, this helped give me some new insights into his work. I don't think they emphasize enough how Japanese composition influenced his work. But, overall, an excellent overview of his life.

The subject is full of interest, but the robotic narration is alienating.

I might have enjoyed this documentary, but gave it up early because the narrator runs through it so fast with a nearly monotone voice.
