The first film I ever saw with her in it was Titanic, and I was certain she was American. The second film I saw her in was Finding Neverland, and I thought what a great English accent she does. That's what you call irony!
I was so happy for Kate when she won Best Actress finally for The Reader. But... looking back, I can't help but feel like she totally deserved the win for Titanic too. I know she was young. I know her character was young. But, Rose DeWitt Bukater is Kate's most iconic role. It will be for some time. And, she totally transformed in my opinion into this teenage sweetheart in 1912 IMO.

I think those silly interviews like craig ferguson and letterman are funny and a lot of fun aswell, but I think that when you see an actor/actress talking about their craft in depth, it amazes me how many new things you learn.
