It's called voting a straight-party ticket. I've met many people that do this. Decent people, but very gullible and they believe all the GQP's lies. And GQP leaders know this.

I’ve never known to which party my older sister belongs (i am female 50+ years old), but she ALWAYS votes straight party because, “it gets me in and out of the booth faster,” she’s very proud of herself and thinks she’s wonderful.

The effects are a bit horrifying: Blisters, chronic bronchitis, low blood oxygen levels, chronic kidney disease. Many lose their sense of smell & taste & never get them back. It's so powerful that if they put their old uniforms back on from their time overseas, the blisters come right back. The symptoms start out as severe sore throat, fever & congestion that will keep an entire company in the hospital for at least two weeks. And then the other, more horrifying symptoms pop up. None of it sounds fun to me.

I saw Jon Stewart live years and years ago. He had Hillary Clinton as his guest. It was a great show. He even took the time to talk to the audience for quite a while before the show even began. Super cool guy.
He was on Comedy Central for years! Go back and check out all his old videos - his show was called "The Daily Show". A brilliant and funny man.
