Id remodel the basement for extra living room. Re-seal walls and ceiling and turn it into lounge or tv room. Upstairs just needs opening up make a bathroom out of one room then the other small bedroom into the kitchen. Then turn the rest into a bedroom.

Hopefully you will be really happy to live there 😊 Just wanted to say that it’s hard to watch a video because it’s always shaking and there is no stabilization option on camera as I can see. It would be so nice if you invest in tripod and would be in front of camera. Of course if you want your channel to grow! If you are doing that for fun - then don’t even listen to me and accept my congratulations for your new house! 🎉
Yeah, I'm just using my phone to film. Sorry about the shaking, I have gotten quizy from watching other people's shaky videos. I will try to use the tripod more, it's just trying to remember that I should be filming, because you get so invested in the moment. 😅 Maybe I should invest in one of those handheld things that smooth out "shaky" filming. 🤔 It's also very cold filming, because I need to remove my glove, and that probably makes the video shake more. 🥶
Yes, we will try to salvage and reuse as much as possible. We will have enough costs as is. Just updating the windows will be a huge cost, like 2000€, and we will hire someone to dig out the parking space (it will take an experienced driver, a day to get the job done well, while we would potentially use a week, or more, and probably spend more on renting the equipment in the end) So that's an unknown large sum. But once we are out of the living situation we are in right now, we will free up so much money each month, that we can then spend on projects. So we are 🤞safely installed in a warm, functional and cozy cabin before the temperature drops to low. 😊
