- Stupid or genius? I have no idea but is was sketchy as flip. Huge birch worktops for the kitchen have to go in through the 3rd floor window at -17C. All in a days work.

Simon you can’t beat having a plan especially when it’s a good one, cheers ❄️❄️👍
Thanks Terry.
I'm glad to see there are others who come up with sketchy plans to move or lift things! 😁
You know how it is, we must rejoice in men who get stuff done. Thank you.
Simon that was a edge of the seat episode! I was in awe that you were able to shift both items of significant length and weight across from the forklift!!! True: “necessity is the mother of invention!” ….. 😊❤🇦🇺🇸🇪
Thanks Anne, but the key was getting them level and then they just slide with not lifting required. I has the finished surfaces facing each other with blankets between and it was easy once they were up there. It was harder to move them about inside. Have a great trip and take care.
That was scetchy! I have done some questionable things, even I don’t think I would have done that!
You are a brave man Simon!
Thanks Dave, you know there is a fine line between brave and not so I will take the brave.
Winter is really hammering you, but you seems to do well!
Keep up the good work🤠
Thank you.
Simon, That’s thinking outside the box to come up with that plan., well done !!. I got a bit a bit worried when you climbed out onto the worktops when they were suspended in mid air but you seemed to have everything under control. It fails to amaze me the things you can do with that machine especially when it is so old but it seems to serve you well despite its age
Thanks John, It would seem that the old girl has some kind of muscle memory. It has been here since the 80's and just knows what is required when we work together.
🤠👍 Just like Fred Dibnah RIP, the steeplejack.
The trick is staying up there - not falling down . You did well
And No heavy lifting that troubles your back. Good.
Stay safe, Take care.Keep warm.
I have watched a lot of old videos wirh and about Fred . What became of all his stuff , wich wife got everything. ??
His sons got his stuff
Fred was my hero, I loved everything he did. A real man that could do everything.
Hello Simon. We'll that was interesting to say the least. The ole girl saves the day again. Life would be very difficult without the volvo.
I'm playing catch up on your videos. Rest assured I'll watch them all. Looks as though winter is normal there.
Guess we're not getting much snow this year? So far just rain. Have a blessed Sunday my friends. God bless!
Hello Sara 👋
Thank you my friend, you must be busy again. Not sure if that is good or bad for you but whatever it is stay safe and enjoy it.
PHEW!!! I suspected the Old Girl wouldn't let you down... but that slip... I thought your feet were going to drop you! WoW!! Happy daze!!!
What did I miss? Slip where? OMG did I really nearly truly drop, I must do better.
@@arctic-rebel Haha... it was close... very close!! BUT... you are here to share the tale - happily!!😁😁
PS - Can't wait to see the results of all your work... I'm betting it will be stunning!!
Good job!
You certainly have a good head for heights. 🙂👍
Thanks, my wings are a bit tatty though
Thanks Simon, you got it done! Your still agile enough to do the splits, and you probably had a few viewers pass out watching. Take care.
It would appear so Mark yes.Thank you.
Simon my friend, I felt watching cirque de soleil in Las Vegas be careful with the hustle and bustle of work!!!!
I will, thank you
That Volvo loader is awesome👍
I think so too, Thank you
Great video. Great job. Got a little sketchy there. Looking forward to see the inside work. Gob Bless you and yours. Pet Kaspar for me.
Alan
Hi Alan, I hope you are in good health and looking after yourself. I know it will be another winter season for you inside so we send you our best wishes. You will see the almost finished result this weekend. I amaze myself really. Take care and thank you.
Mad plan better than no plan. Amen
On the edge stuff Si but then I thought you must have done it or you wouldn't have put up the video felt better after that. Bet Sarah was worried as well helping with the work tops. You deserve a good coffee after that mate. best to you all.
Hi Ash, it is high and icy but not dangerous really, unless you fall of course. The downside of working on the School during winter but I and done with that now. Thank you and take care.
Note to myself...: If one is to do something totally bonkers, do it with some Simonuity🤣 I do believe I saw a couple of Safety Sallies in the treetops behind you, but they probably passed out and f
ell down😜 Still on the cooler side of the temperature scale there? As of yesterday we got some warmer weather, around 0°. About 20 km to the northeast of us they measured it to -33°C two days ago🥶All the best to you guys, stay safe and warm🙂
I still have the image of falling SS, how I laughed thank you so much you made my day. It is not as cold as last year at this time but enough to keep us on the move. Take care my friend.
A great video simon keep em coming winter is here in Northern NH very cold and snow I have not seen one mosquito lol you take care and be safe
Hi Eric, lack of mozi's is Sarah's favorite part. Enjoy the snow my friend and take care.
Howdy Simon- another interesting job well done. I’m wondering if you and I are somewhat distantly related lol. I’m working with some younger fellas and they are a bit skeptical about what I’ll do to get logs up on the wall. I don’t think they realize us older guys have had to do some things that some people might consider a bit questionable. But we got it done and we’re still kicking. Take care my friend and God bless
Well said my friend, I have seen a very small amount of your ability to move the impossible to where you want it. I think your amazing and yes we are related. Our fathers were men who built the world in which others bask. May we be rewarded of our hard work during times of rest. God bless you all.
Not one single OSHA violation was seen 👍😳👊
No, apparently they fell out of the tree's!
Time to do some sketch s**t , doo da doo la, hope i will get away with it doo da doo la 😂 sketch level 10000 here Simon 😂
It is only ice and height, what could possibly go wrong!
@@arctic-rebel 😂😂
Hello sir
this was realy very ,very interesting way to die.
So best wishes for your new birthday.
Take care.
greetings
🥵🤠
LOL, thank you. All under control here.
A curtain , with snaps..that covers some of your radiator....FOR VERY COLD SNAPS..
Surely some insulation can be introduced into the walls. Or..overlaid...?...
I have a front panel that screws over the grill for when it get really cold. As for the walls, maybe but who pays for it I often barely have the funds for what we need.
Nice job of figuring out how to get those worktops moved, but I was worried about you when you climbed out onto the worktops while they were still on the tractor!
Hi Monte, thanks you only need to worry once I start falling. Then be sure to close your eyes before impact.
Crazy!
Thank you
A better phrase: if you haven't lived dangerously you haven't lived.
Yes Sir, we have lived well.
Congrats monetisation is on now as well by the looks of it :)
It is, still some hoops to jump though before I get anything but it is on.
@@arctic-rebel one step at the time at least it’s progressing right direction - happy for you!
Very Well Done Simon Another Job Safely Put Away I Hope You Are All Well A Happy Please Take Care From Blue In England
🤔🤔And you ask yourself " What could go wrong"!!🫣🫣
I used to, now I know everything that could go wrong. Not on my watch Sir.
