- Finally after 3 years of drying I am ready to turn the Church Birch craft a new kitchen.
We also get to use the secondhand kitchen we collected from the City and put it all together in an old class room. - ยานยนต์และพาหนะ
Simon! Fantastic workmanship!!! You will all enjoy the labours of love by yourself and Sarah’s cooking in that room with wonderful memories made also to last a life time. Amazing how we can watch it all come together in one episode and yet you have spent hundreds of hours of laboured love …… beautiful and thank you so much. Warmest love to you all and especially Kasper ❤️🇦🇺🇸🇪.
Thank you Anne, did I tell you it has hundreds of hours in it, well yes is does and so far have enjoyed it very much. It is often hard to find time to film something different when l am on a large project. If Kaspr could say thank you, he would turn a circle for you. Take care and have fun.
A kitchen that you would never want to leave. Splendid workmanship.
Thank you very much Peggy, you know where it is!
Imagine the walls could speak, hundreds of kids passed through there with all different lifestorys.
Impressive carpentry🤠
Hi and thanks, what is most interesting about living in a very small village is everyone who lives here went to this school. The friends I have lost this year all went to school here. So I have met the kids that were hear and can see their life stories and been told as adults what went on and who pushed who through the glass doors in the front entrance. More than this I have all the old desks and chairs with their name carved into them. The very room I am sitting in was where my friend Tomas who passed last week plated table tennis. The very same table tennis table that holds my PC 60 years later. I don't at all find it strange but comforting that I am a custodian of a very important building in a very small place. Have a great day.

So true, Tack.

Looking awesome Simon as if we’d expect anything less ! Nice work OLD MAN 😂😂😂👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Thanks Brad, I am deliberately not reacting! I know your trying but the old man comments are all beneath me . Just like the soil that will soon comfort me.
@@arctic-rebel it’s all in fun Sr. no disrespect.
It is a thing of beauty Simon, and the only one.
Thanks Willaim
That’s a good looking dog
Thank you, he is useful too.
Thanks Simon, beautiful job. Sarah has to love it for sure. Take care.
Thank you Mark.
Nothing more to say than.. Job very well done👍👍 The work tops came out magnificent.. Birch can be amazing when treated the proper way👌You've got a kitchen to be proud of, plenty of space .. Had an idea to replace the kitchen furniture last year, but the prices are just over the top and then some. I took the whole shebang down, cleaned and sanded it and spraypainted it in a 2-component paint.. a lot of work, but it came out pretty nice.. and a lot cheaper than buying a completely new kitchen. All the best to Sarah, Kasper and you, take care and stay warm 😀
Thank you, on the subject of prices I have finished all the major work for less than the raw materials of just the base units. I feel bad for the younger generations who don't have the skill or money so I hope some of my video's help in the future. Stay safe and enjoy your weekend.
Casper looks fabulous handsome boy! I use milk crates on a lift table to get it hung. It works for me. Nice job Simon.
Thank you Dave, whatever works does the job well.
Hello sir
Now times you have short days and very long night time so you need el. lights to see working. Must be high el. bill to pay.
And I admire you can see so good without glasses.
I'm 58 and need glasses around six years now you know and we have no polar night or polar temperatures here to harm eyes.
wish you best work results ,good vision and warm house.
greetings
Thank you, Electric cost is very small for me, only lights no problem. I need glasses but refuse to rely on them. Take care.

👍💪
Love it great job, I put a cabinet up on my own and the only way I could do it was to put a bead of wood on the wall first
Once again a brilliant job with the work tops etc, also a fantastic view from the windows 👍❄️❄️❄️
Thank you Terry, I do have some good views now all I need it time to enjoy them.

Thank you, I have seen some bad snow forecast for you I think you will be having a time of the white stuff. It makes for a beautiful Christmas.
Stunning job.
Thank you very much!
Fine job on the kitchen! I really like the countertops!
Thanks so much Monte. Take care
Nice job Simon and Casper
Thank you.
🤠👍 A self-made man makes everything by him self.
Simply self-made! 👏
And Sarah, waiting for her kitchen, with a patience of an angel. 🥰
Take care, stay safe and warm!
Thank you, she is an angel and puts up with all my work very well.
😇😇😇😇😇
Looks amazing! Job well done.
Thank you very much!
Howdy Simon- beautiful work, my friend! It’s amazing how nice things turn out when you do it yourself ( and have skills of course). I must admit I’m a bit jealous of you having some inside work during the cold weather. In my many years of working there have been too few times I’ve been able to work inside when the weather is bad. This winter I will spend the time building a log house nearly two hundred miles from home. So far, so good. As my age begins to creep up on me I may need to rethink some things lol. Anyway, your winter wonderland is absolutely beautiful! Take care and God bless
Hi Paul, very kind thank you. Inside work is great if your getting paid for it. Nothing I do through the winter inside brings in any money although it improves our living standard from camping to comfortable. Good luck with the new build, don't forget your battery chargers! Be safe and God bless you my friend.
That looks great Simon, you are very handy.love your channel
Glad you like it Arnie, thank you.
Those worktops are huge
Yes and very heavy but so good to use and look at. Well worth it.
Simply beautiful!!
Tell you what... if I had my way... I'd want to come and do a few months... (more like years) internship with you as my master! Imagine... me playing ball with Kasper and him winning, every time! Only thing... you may just not allow me any play time... I get the feeling you may turn out to be quite the strict taskmaster!!
Happy weekend to you and Sarah... and all the other happy creatures in your immediate vicinity!😁😁
Thanks AJ, please remember I have employed thousands of people over the years and everyone was please to see the back of me. No idea why! Have a great weekend.
@@arctic-rebel Haha... no idea why... that's why I didn't volunteer to be employed... just to be an intern!! Thus... me gain experience and many a laugh at slave rates!! remember... slaves have to be fed and can't be fired!!😂😂
Hi Simon you are amazing craftsman.we’re did you learn all these skills 😊
Thank you Scott, they come from a life time of not sleeping much and a huge sense of adventure.
I don't think you are really done with excitement, (I've seen you three stories up standing on a shaky board on top of a couple racks of wood.), but I'm happy you know your walls. No one needs to drill into water or gas lines!
Fair comment. Thanks.
Really enjoy your videos, but please adjust the audio levels. I have to turn up the audio because your mic output is low and when the music starts it is deafening.
I am aware of the issue and do the best I can with what I have. I can only say it will improve with better equipment and thanks for sticking with it in the mean time.
First off nice to see the ball 😂 where did you mount the thermometer 🤔 . And wow , that kitchen is looking awesome Simon. I only wish I had the much cabinet space 😂😂 fuckin hell man . And yes this is my other account 👍🇺🇸👊😄 . The Temps here are crazy and 0 snow yet and that makes me sad 😢. I need to get out in my loader and push something .
Be careful what you wish for, although it is a nice place to sit!
