I was born in Airthrey Castle on March 8th 1951 when it was used as a maternity hospital after the war.... I lived in Bannockburn until 1965. Attended St Modans High school.....I represented my school when the Queen came to unveil the William of Wallace monument......so this episode has many memories for me .... Thanks Roadshow... L.A 🇨🇦
I wish that you continue making wonderful memories :) Today I suggested to my dear friend that when he is sad; take books from their cupboards and shelves, dust one, remember when it came into ones life and from whom and repeat when one reaches Z.
I just found at the Goodwill a Bunnykins bowl and two handled cup. I live in America, but I collect Bunnies, Anthropomorphic Animals and English items(a lot of my Ancestors were English) as I Love the Victorian time period items, though I know Bunnykins is in the 30's. We don't really know about Bunnykins in America, Potter's Peter Rabbit, yes, very popular, but Bunnykins never really hear of it.
Dear, Dear BBC. Your nominal output so far eclipses that of ours, the U.S., that it's shameful. And that goes for NZ and OZ. I wish there was a scheme in place to compensate you more fully. It's not a large party, but you are loved.
How droll! They don't move along as quickly at the American version. ---I was also surprised to note I didn't hear much of the local accent...---And it was exciting to see an early Eric Knowles on board!---I'm happy to say this Yank has been to John O'Groats!
Why is there not an Antiques Roadshow from an Irish location? ...regular Ireland, not Northern Ireland? There still some stiff attitudes "?" Irish American Tennessee, USA
Let's Look at Brexit, and what it means to GB. NI is seething, there's no telling which way they would jump. Scotland would leave. Wales would stay. I'm very sorry to tell you this. Yell at Commons if you disagree.
