We saw videos that involved removing the entire back window and even considered taking the truck to a window specialist. After watching your video, we were able to fix the problem in less than 10 minutes! thank you for saving two retired do-it-yourselfers alot of time, aggravation and money! Your videos are very easy to understand and take the "complicated" out of window repair.
2003 Ram 1500 4 door 4x4: I took a shot and ordered the rear slider due to the original needing to be replaced. It arrived in 3 days. The price was more than right. After watching this video, it took me all of 10 minutes, including cleaning the upper and lower tracks of dirt and glass shards. Zero issues. It all went back together more easily than I would have imagined. The glass slider slides smoothly and locks closed as it should. END OF REPORT.

excellent video now , how do you remove plastic thingy that secures the window from opening mine is broken and I was wondering if i can fix that with out removing the whole sliding window thanks in advance
I’m having a vibration from the center glass on my slider. If I push up against the center slider, the vibration noise stops. What can I use as a spacer to fix? Thanks!
Black gorilla tape one strip across the top of the window covering both sides down from the glass about 1/4 inch just apply and fold over the window trim with razor blade
Unfortunately I can't help you contact the manufacturer of the cap. You can also get the name of the manufacturer off the logo on the window and contact them
does this work for removal as well as far as removing the plastic track to remove the window? My rear sliding window is backwards as in the locking clip is outside of the truck....
i noticed ya did it with the frame removed ..i tried mine with the frame in and it wont fit in just a bit to wide..whats the trick or do i need a glass place to install it...

This is literally ONLY for CERTAIN vehicles . You DO need to replace the entire slider if its anhthing else usually. Notice how he said ford? Ford is pretty much the only company that makes a changeable center slider. .
