Hi Brian thanks - the cable lift is quite a long way downstream - just keep going and you'll see a static large jet boat on your left at the bottom of the cable lift

Please can you advise how I launch the boat in the water. Mine keeps ending up mid air, even when selecting the river.

Hi Brian - yes it is a bit odd how it starts in the air. I find the best way is when the flight is loaded and is ready click fly and then quickly click the "y" key to enter slew mode . you can then move the boat to where you want it using these command keys below. press y again to exit slew mode
Slew Mode
Slew Translate Up (Slow) - F3.
Slew Translate Up (Fast) - F4.
Slew Translate Backward - NUM 2.
Slew Translate Forward - NUM 8.
Slew Translate Down (Fast) - F1.
Slew Translate Down (Slow) - A.
Slew Y-Axis Translation Freeze - F2.
Slew Roll Left - NUM 7.
