    We have had our Solar City system up and running for almost two years. It has provided everything that was outlined in our contract and has performed without issues.
    Pigeons seem to like to nest under the panels so opt to have Solar City mitigte that issue during the instal.
    Thanks Solar City

    I have one of those steep pitched roofs, they didn't have a problem at all with it. System has been working great for over a year, wish I could have afforded to put some more panels in.

    Solar city is definitely an easy route to go. It's like the Carmax of solar. For those of us who squeeze every drop out of a dollar,there are better ways to go.
    The retail price Solar city sells a system is Very high. They push the lease option.
    We are going a different route and will own our system. Solar city cost for owning would have been $28,000.00. We will be paying 12,000.00 for the same output system. A reputable local electrician will be doing the instal,using quality components.

    well, that nice, but, it would have been better if they had shown how the rafters were located without swiss-cheezing the roof with locating holes.

    Northern California. PGE charges .34/KWh for their 3rd tier (700+KWh/ month). Signing up with SolarCity, that 3rd tier price will now drop down to .21/KWh and is fixed for the next 20 years.
    I would recommend looking at your electric bill, and check your electricity usage. If you're using over 700KWh per month (like we are due to pool and EV, etc.) and electric company charges you more than .21/KWh for the top tier, call up SolarCity and see how much they can save you.

    • @MrNorsewise
      @MrNorsewise 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      DC9848 I'm sure Tesla's got plans of their own. whether it be complicating things with their battery r&d pertaining to autos and their other real big deal, the home battery power supplement/backup and the secret charging resources systems they may be considering for the power generating side of the panel....😁
