Thanks for pointing that out! I always forget about that one and made the same error on my Superman review. I'll try to remember when I make this park review.
@@jayminyoel7911 probably because it doesn’t have inverted trains, but it still should be an labeled as a impulse because it’s slightly more similar to an impulse than a reverse free fall.
Thank you. I don't like the Vekoma suspended's layout, but people have been claiming it's brutal and I have just never had a brutal ride on it. It has been legit smooth for me. I started to question my own memory and sanity, but it's good to know I am not crazy from someone who has ridden it very recently.
I love Steel Taipan the most. You can never go wrong with a coaster named after a snake. Taipans btw are one of the most venomous. Beautiful, but venomous. Do you have a favorite snake? Mine is green smooth snake. They are cute and fun to play with, I am also big on Copperheads, very docile, yet venomous. They are sweethearts, they just want to chill. Dope flat ride collection at this park too
One of the 3 major parks in Australia, I really miss Tower of Terror, it must of been insane on opening. Also rides like Buzzsaw and Thunderbolt must of been really good. I think Steel Taipan was a good fit considering how many major cossters this park has lost.
I miss Wipeout a lot (flat ride). And now Rampage has gone at adventure world in Perth and that was a VICIOUS top spin. I counted 18 flips! I don't care about Buzzsaw as I have it down the road now LOL but I do miss TOT. Although it was a one trick pony, it was a really fun one. That said, for the remaining decade of the ride's life, Dreamworld ran it under spec and it only went half way up the tower at best.. So as for the way they were RUNNING it, well, it's not that big of a loss, it's more nostalgia than anything. For the rides I got on it going forwards near all the way to the top 20 years ago, then yes, I miss it. If only it went that high in reverse it would have been so thrilling.
Sucks they removed tower of terror funny how the reverse free fall is in both RCT3 and PlanCo with both being based on tower of terror (without the giant drop obviously)
4:38 Since they are replacing Claw with a bigger and newer version known as King Claw, I'm going to guess that the replacement ride will be neck and neck with Giant Drop for best flat ride in the park.
I just realised we lost our two water rides, a log flume and our rapids (that's understandable after what happened). But still, a waterpark where you need to change clothes and use a towel is a different thing, and I think Dreamworld needs a signature water attraction after the coaster next year. I can't believe I am saying this but I think it needs it more than another big coaster. Maybe Intamin's new launched water coaster? Or something themed like journey to Atlantis (Orlando version). What do you think? Thoughts, anyone?
Honestly, I think the Claw is one of the best pendulums in Australia. I live in Sydney and I have been on both the 360 and 240 options at Luna park. 360 was great, but 240 was way too mild. The claw is between 240 and 360 so it is very good for those who want something more thrilling than 240, but aren’t ready for 360.
The drop has a tad more oomph than the other two you mentioned. It's actually a well rounded drop tower. It's not like what you get on an A.R.M. but you know that already. Hopefully you can see yourself with the footage provided that you do come out of your seat on the giant drop though. I have ridden it many times, but note, the last time was in 2009. Every visit since then has had it closed. So maybe, just as a disclaimer, I am not remembering the force of the drop perfectly, buy what I do remember, I put the force as mid tier (whereas something like the horrible ride at BGW would be the lowest tier in that department and the one at luna park sydney is top tier in that department), I put the height at top tier, it's comfortable and overall rate the ride at top tier. An 8.5 or 9/10. It's a slow rise and the height is kind of freaky and you get a loooong view out.
Nice Vid as usual! This is kind of an odd question, but would you recommend Mako at SeaWorld Orlando for some ones 1st 200-foot coaster? Is it super intense or is it just a lot of airtime?
I believe ‘Söhne’ (as in Maurer Söhne) is pronounced something similar to ‘zo-ner’. So, yes, that’s quite a lot different from what the characters look like from an English perspective.
0:45: Turbo Track is a reverse freefall coaster
Thanks for pointing that out! I always forget about that one and made the same error on my Superman review. I'll try to remember when I make this park review.
I feel like that’s more of a impulse coaster than a reverse free fall coaster.
@@jack-hw7et Intamin lists it as reverse freefall

@@jack-hw7et Pretty much the only difference is the twisted spike. It only goes up the spike once, it’s pretty much the same.

This one was smoother than the US ones.

This lineup has changed mightily for sure.
Pandamonium had such nice theming, that's one thing I miss vs Serpent Slayer retheme.
I wish I could've seen the area before it changed.
Yeah, I loved that whole area! The red looked so much better than the blue.
They’ve removed a lot of big coasters. Tot and their Maurer sky loop.

The Maurer Skyloop has been relocated to Victora at Gumbuya World.
Yes they have. At least they got Steel Taipan.

Most likely

A Mack PowerSplash would be perfect and the park seems happy to work with Mack.

Claw has no filler. It's all airtime and positive Gs.

Sounds like a 2nd gen Intamin freefall then, which would be fantastic at those heights.

it’s not intense, should be fine
It's fun. Lots of airtime, so it's smooth.
Hey Canobie- off topic, but do you have off-ride footage of Prince Charmings regal carousel?
Just a little. I plan to post that later this year with my Magic Kingdom footage.

Definitely a much different pronunciation than I would have suspected.
