Anne of Green Gables is my favourite classic story. I fell in love with the original movies and own them as a set along with the books. I have to read them all still since I’ve only read the first book 😅 but I love how readable L.M.Montgomery’s books are. I’m not a classic person but it’s easy to digest and beautiful.
I really liked this way of you picking books to read as you got to pick the genre you wanted to read and you seemed so much happier doing it this way 😊. I can’t wait to see you doing another one of these videos in 2025 😮xxx
More people need to be reading. I have a playlist of 65 videos of my giveway at work. I thrifted 532 books for 88 dollars and 75 dvds for 22 dollars for my book giveway at applebees ( 3701 Veterans Memorial Blvd, Metairie, LA 70002). I have given away 3200 books in 10 months to babies, kids, teens, and adults.❤😊 I love putting the classics in my giveway
I loved The Blue Castle when I read it two years ago. L.M. Montgomery is my favorite author.she had written many books and is known for her beautiful descriptions of nature.
Split Tooth was fantastic! But I read it as the audiobook because it involves traditional throat singing and so the audio experience is way better. You should check it out still, through your library or something

@@BooksToAshes that sounds so lovely! I definitely need to pick it up now, her writing is unmatched💗
Megan Follows in the 80's movies will always be Anne to me. The Anne books are my all time favorite books.
@@readknitwithcheryl Yes ♥️ she as an actress and those movies will always have a place in my heart

30:00 you should really consider watching (and/or reading) pride and prejudice (2005) 😭it's not in little women and definitely not a meme
@@REMITHEREADER yeah I realized when I was editing it was Pride and Prejudice not Little Women. I’ve seen the movie a couple times but I DNFd the book

@@readknitwithcheryl seriously the most gorgeous writing😊 I’m so glad you loved it too!!
Medusa sounds a little like Circe. Circe was good though so not a bad similarity.
@@michellewilson6210 yeah they were kind of similar, Circe was a 5 star for me I loved her🧡

You should listen to Rebecca on audio. It’s so good. Well…with the correct reader. I like blind pulls.
@@abbywonder3825 oh good to know thanks🥰 I’ll probably listen and read along cause I want to annotate it too
Glad you didn't get any of your dreaded books! Lol
