I actually do feel that her songs are very poetic. Because English is not my first language, it'd take that much raw force to touch my emotions and nothing would do that better than poems. One of my fav Kimbra songs is As You Are. I love the version she did with the Artist Journal. I don't think I can ever articulate the impact that song had on me or the feelings it evoked. It reminded me of how I felt when I first read Vowels by Rimbaud - just so profoundly beautiful and romantic.
