Was almost positive I had warped rotors because of how bad the shaking and bouncing was. Tried your fix and I can’t believe it!! Like a new bike with perfect brakes!! Thank You!!
Thank you man!!!!! You saved me money and time... 2 different mechanics told I need new brakes and rotors... But watched this video and 5 min later the shacking was GONE!!!!!!!! THANK U ONCE AGAIN
Why are you putting lubricant on your disks dude? Thats asking for trouble. You dont want lube infecting the pads. Clean down the disks at least with degreaser after.
OMG!!! Thank you so much for this video, I've been having a chalky sensation in my braking for the last few months. I've changed Rotors, Brake pads, and had the steering bearing tightened...all this and the issue persisted. I did what you said before going to work and OMG!! I'm so happy...my smooth braking has returned..Thank you Gilio!
@@pasiutrial I received the Rotors from Amazon as a used open box product. Not sure how old they were, but after following instructions on the video they are working fine now.
BRAVO!!! I clean this way several times a season. I use a M6 or M8 shrew in and a deck with a nut. Depending on the type of disc. Several times brake cleaner and.... A great deal of dirt comes out. I also wash the brake calipers several times a season.
This 100% works, my GTR1400 (Aussie Concours) had a bad vibration under front braking, did this rivet lube and wow. Make sure to brake clean the rotor thoroughly after.
Dude!! This is bloody awesome!! I had that annoying shaky feel on the break lever during initial braking around 110-117 kMh on my 2015 Z1000SX ABS. Changed axl bearings. Kawa service guys checked my rotors (ok), checked my braking system (perfect). Steering (perfect). Nothing seem could help ... P.s: I would double stress the need to clean the rotors after this lubrication process so that WD nither reach pads nor stay on the rotors. Peace
@@giliocervantes6793 It did! I used Liquid Wrench (penetrating oil) instead of WD-40. There was quite a bit of "grit" feeling until each button was free. Disks now float. Again, many thanks for the tip.
I just tried this, however I did wipe down my rotors with brake cleaner and a paper towel afterwards. I cleaned a lot of chit off my front rotors. Wondering since my pads and rotors are fairly new if I should of done this first. (Just clean them) My front brakes don't grab and pulsate like they did before, shaking the chit out of my front end.
i buy Arashi disk rotors for my Honda Hornet 900....anfter cca.. 600 miles of driving brake lever start to pulsing ...i try this from video but not help..did you solve the problem somehow?
Wow i just found this video, was telling my son just i was getting some pulsing vibration when i engage my front brakes. Not really bad or anything but it just has started. I figured the rotors were warped and i was just gonna live with it because its an 08 connie. Im gonna try this as soon as i can thanks.
I found that my rotors had not been torqued down evenly on my 2011. The originals were acting like they were warped and replaced under warranty. The guy who replaced them didnt tighten them evenly so the rotor was not in line with the wheel. There is a plastic shim between the hub and the carrier that can allow the rotor to be tightened down out of alignment.
This is great, it made that pesky lever on the right handle bar not slow the bike down when you squeeze it like it use to. If i only knew about this years ago, i might not be alive today to talk about it. I will never use plain old soap and water ever again
Anyone who uses WD40 for a lubricant has no idea what they're doing. WD 40 is specifically designed for water displacement hince the WD. Almost anything else works better for lubrication, ideally you should use dry graphite not a lube on this application. I mix dry graphite with denatured alcohol to coat the surfaces then the alcohol evaporates leaving just the graphite behind to dry lube. This method last longer than an oil based application any rain just distributes the graphite more instead of washing out any oil, just clean the discs with brake cleaner and you'll be amazed.
Hello, I have the same problem with my Hayabusa. I have new rotors, only about 3000 km done using them, I have new bearings, new pads, serviced brake calipers, all top condition. Then it hit me. All of the sudden the front brake started to shake. No sporty riding, only touring, taking good care of it. I cleaned the bobins using brake cleaner spray and the shaking remained. I did not lubricate them. I am so pissed off. This winter I spent about 2000 euro to get the bike in top condition.
Eugen Panaitescu all good hope you got fix I clean the rivets every 2000 miles. You may wanna lubricarte this rivets, brake clean spray is just to remove oil residual also you have to apply pressure around and Moe it to free up the rivets remember any motorcycle with float rotors do that procedure could save you money for sure.
@@giliocervantes6793 I cleaned them thoroughly whith wd 40. There seemed to be some dirt in. I freed them completely. The lubricant did a beter job indeed. Was a little scared about oil on the brakes though😨. But, sadly for me, this is not enough. I guess the bike needs service again, to see what's wrong. This is annoying, because the bearings are new (Allballs), the rotors have only 3000 km done, the pads also new. We'll see. Thank you, anyway, for the video. It is another lesson learned. All the best!
The rotors in order to flow nice I keep them lubricated move them around I started using one drop of oil open the Rivet use some sort of oil then remove the excess of oil out that will do it. The point is to keep the rivets free and lubricated inside.

AOxAO that’s awesome I do it every oil change Lubricating the rivets I do it as a habit now. I just posted another video.
So, you don't want WD40 on your rim? But it's ok on the rotor?

CoyoteTa81 works for me all the time I just did another video.
Hot soapy water and brake cleaner... Do not use WD40 or any oil!
Centrifical force will push any oil stuck in those bobbins right to the rotor once at speed.
Thanks for posting this great video!!

It actually worked, 2009 CBR 600RR
I also like to spray WD40 on my brakes... They feel so smooth, more the merrier
Use that only on the rivets in order for the rotors to flow.
Please don’t spray wd40 on your brakes pads is dangerous you can have an accident spray only on the rivets then clean your rotors with brake cleaner!!

Really shines up the tires too 😉
I've got a 2009 Kawasaki ZX6R with a breaks that brake bad like if I'd was putting break on and off. Would you say this may work?
was just wondering, does it fix the vibrations permanently or just a temporary fix? would appreciate for any feedback.
Actually I get it in all my motorcycles the brake dust cause the rivet get stuck you should do it twice per year.
Thanx! 😀👍👍👍👍👍
legend!!!!!!! thanks

You got problem like when you use brake it not braking consistantly, like when you brake your body moving back and forth?
They are not rivets.
Same problem with my Hayabusa2020 brakes. Whenever i apply front brakes bike starts vibrating.
