I had a husky from 7-21 years old. He was gorgeous, loyal, and loving just as I am sure this sweet princess is. I made it about 10 seconds in before I started crying. He passed away 15 years ago. You never forget your dogs and the love you have for them lasts forever.
Mad respect for her owners who have taken great care of her all these years and continue to help her look and feel her gorgeous best. She is such a sweetheart, and absolutely does *not* look like she's 13.

When our dogs and cats are having issues with the heat and high temperature in summer, we use an old trick that works very well, once they realize what it is for ! We use a large white towel, made it humid and lay it in the fridge for half an hour, and then you look for the cool spot in the house and spread the towel on the floor, and it's you who has to make them clear how it works the first time I do wrap the cold towel under her belly and she reacted enthusiastically the first time and now every year when the heat hits our region I take the towel and the dog already happy in advance also our lovely cat loves to spread her legs open and lay on her belly on the colder moisturized towel she really purrs and love it and while back I repaired an old ventilator fan, and now I use it for our furry family, and honestly they love it when their cool corner is equipped for their comfort !!! And believe it or not but the gratitude I get from my two furry friends is absolutely pure, and I enjoy these moments of simple happiness with all my heart
That's great! There are also cooling mats you can buy - a huskie named Sherpa in the U.K. had one. He's quite a character.

I wish we'd known about the deshedding shampoo and the undercoat nozzle being necessary to loosen the hair before brushing, back when I had a golden retriever. My mom would either brush her or Force us to brush her every day and keep complaining when she would find more hair
It can’t be helped with an animal in the house.
Our Belgian Shepherd liked getting brushed out. If I asked the girls if they'd brushed the dog she would always let us know, yea or nay!
My favorite bit is when pieces of her undercoat slipped loose and went to the bottom of the bath while you were bathing her. I think that rates highly in the “oddly satisfying things to watch” genre.

When I worked at the Pets Hotel at Petsmart I couldn’t resist plucking the loose butt fluff from double coated dogs. 🙈 One dog was so bad when she came into my playroom you could literally see all the clumps of undercoat trying to fall off her body. By the time her owner picked her up at the end of the day they swore we threw in a free grooming session for being a regular customer. 😅😂 Didn’t have the heart to tell them I just couldn’t stand looking at all the loose fur. Lmao! 🙈😅😂
@@J10969 I was watching a friends dog and did the same I just couldn’t help it!! She would put up with it for a bit before she embraced her true husky nature and ran for the hills to avoid it! But those precious seconds were so satisfying

Long haired Golden retrievers do the same thing. Hell my short haired cat sometimes can just be plucked if i wait slightly too long for her brushing.

Aww...imagine only seeing this beautiful, sweet old dog only twice a year. I cherish any time I have with dogs of any age but the occasions I've been able to spend time with an ol' grayface, I give them extra attention.

Yes I can actually tickle his paws! Him being a Golden with very thick fur doesn't leave a lot of other tickle spots since he literally can't feel me through that thick wool, but his snout is ticklish too. If I tickle his whiskers, he pulls his lips up, not in a snarl but in a reaction to those tickles. An easy way to check his gums for infections! I do not recommend trying it out of the blue though, my dog is very gentle and sweet and just allows us to do it, but other dogs might bite.
My pup was half husky and he hated his feet being touched. Only way I could clean up his paw pads was to take scissors and sit beside him after he's settled on the floor and do one snip at a time with lots of pauses so he doesn't get too frustrated with me.
These videos are so interesting and satisfying. Your voice is so so soothing too, and the narration so calming even when you have uppity dogs and cats. You're like the Bob Ross of dog groomers.
Watching the undercoat fall off is like watching snow fall, I love it ❤️

I love how she really gets in there and gets as much of the coat out as she is able. And she really does a great job drying the dogs and doesn't just throw them in the cage with a heater like some other groomers on TH-cam and never once have I seen this groomer shave a dog completely to the skin.

Thank you so much for saying that shaving them down does NOT keep them cooler! There is a reason why they have that double coat. If you don't want to deal with the coat then don't get that type of dog!

We visited Timberline Racing Huskies here in Taupo New Zealand. Huskies are adorable soft coated, good natured dogs and fierce racers. The colder the better
