Those three words caught me off guard and I'm trying not to cry! Levi & Hank's parents have obviously had a horrible time. Losing one beloved friend in a year is hard enough, but two is dreadful. I am so very sorry for them 😓💔
@@y_fam_goeglydI lost my 2 best buddies within 6 months in 2019, and also my cat. It was so horribly painful. I went from a house with 4 pets to 1 all within 6 months.

There's always a point in the groom that they realize that getting this coat blown out feels soooo good. It's adorable when you see their expression change.
That moment is always great, but I extra-love it when she's able to find The Right Spot (usually up around the neck/shoulder) and you see the dog just lock up and start leaning into it with a look of pure ecstasy :D
For older dogs in particular, I’ll guess once they get over the sound and such, it had to have took some of the pain out of their bones! ❣️

Seriously though, this is an excellent list of dog grooms.
I know most likely you will never see this, but I was so stunned as I was watching a video on “ the return of “Mayo”. You mentioned after mayo had badly scratched you…you mentioned Mayo was very sick and at that time you paid the vet bills for the owner…..this on top of your free grooming which has to add up to a monstrous amount of money each year. You tend to groom animals that take tremendous amount of work. I just wanted you to know how truly you are rare very rare person. In this world a person of your magnitude of kindness is not only rare…it is unheard of. No doubt you deserve all the happiness this life and the next one can bestow on you. By the way my absolute favorite is Princess Smoochie…..hope there will be more videos of her! Thank you again for being the person you are!
I didn't realize until now just how much groomers are one of the most UNDERRATED JOBS IN THE WORLD! Without them, I wouldn't know what the heck to do.
Smoochie (#1) was a recent groom and I remember the owner's reaction which was priceless! They were all pretty close and I'd love to have all of them!!!
Her face was priceless! She got a whole new dog! And Smoochie seemed pretty pleased with her spa day too.
“Look at me, Mom! I look great! Aren’t I pretty, Mom?”
I really enjoyed how patient and regal Duke was until he got bored and took himself for a walk mid-groom and Vanessa just had to follow after him until he got back in the shower. Bless.
It was like he was saying, What, this is all mine?? I was carrying another entire dog around with me??
3 pairs of socks, 2 sweaters, 1 cardigan and a partridge in a pear tree.

Me Too !!!!! that repetitive, susurrant, meditative skrich, skrich, skrich, skriching; i made a tape to fall asleep to.
I'm on the other end of the ASMR scale, I think the slicker brush sounds like it's ripping. It makes me cringe even though I know it's not hurting them.
When they lean into the air stream and half close their eyes. Wholesome.
By the end, Duke was like “Look lady.. I don’t know you well enough to take off any more. At least take me on a date first”. 😂
The Bernese kept looking up like “it’s snowing” 👏👏👏
And Thunder seems to be smiling through it all!
The litteral handfull of floof coming off n.1 and 2 are really a class in themselves.
I love how Duke and Princess Smoochie kind of lent into it as it was the most enjoyable thing ever.
I think a top 10 most dramatic transformations would also be really satisfying!
Beautiful! Dogs marvelling at their own hair flying around them like snow, is a sight to see. It's just sad that Levi and Hank aren't with us anymore, though.
Smoochie looked as if Vanessa pulled entire little dogs out of her coat.
@Bebtelovimabmost dogs groom themselves anyway so they eat far more on their own then the little bit they eat from the air blower, but your comment is a good one !!!!

This was just such a fun video! I recently learned about Matter of Trust, a charity (?) who take in hair donations (or fur, in this case) to felt mats to use for absorbing oil during oil spills in the ocean. I'm betting they would also enjoy a furnado!

On the tenth day of Christmas my true love gave to me 10 Epic Furnadoes, 9 clipping murder mittens, 8 singing the songs of their people, 7 whipping tail, 6 not so happy happy hoodies, 5 golden doodles, 4 rage cage freakouts, 3 bombastic side eyes, two tiny chicken wings, and the one and only pain in my Ace-hole.
Just the sight of your pulling off great hunks of fur with no discomfort to the doggo is amazing.😂❤😂❤😂
My old lab mix (no idea what his mix was, this was back before the DNA tests were relatively affordable) would have given all these a run for their money. I could work him over with brushes, de-shedders and whatever else for about 30 minutes and create a small mountain of fur in my backyard. Then not less than 30 minutes later find clumps of fur in the house. He was a shedding machine. Even after taking him for grooming.
I always feel the need to clear hair from my throat and off my face when I watch these furnados! 😂

Oh my goodness, Duke is a great big floofy cloud wandering around the shop, shedding cloudlets all over the place.
I remember working at Petco, in the Salon of course, and helping with a Keeshond I think it was, anyway it was a triple coated dog. After the blowdry I had to clean the salon area and the fur off this small dog filled our medium size shopvac. I had to vac the ceiling! The fur was literally everywhere, including our mouths and eyelashes! Great dog but what a mess!
This was satisfying to see; I love watching a good furnado! I especially enjoyed seeing Duke and Princess Smoochie's epic furnados!
Levi and Hank, I bet you're having so much fun running free at the rainbow bridge; RIP you sweet and beloved doggo brothers x 🫶🏼

I knew a lady who would spin undercoat into yarn to make sweaters (jumpers) of your dog's furnados. They were quite beautiful! I love your channel!

This video was awesome!!! I've never seen that much fur. The Great Pyrenees was so fun, seeing all that pink skin hiding under there. Most of the dogs seemed to really like their neck areas done. I bet they all felt like a million bucks.

All that wonderful fur would be so easy to spin into yarn. Wouldn't it be funny for Duke's owner to have a sweater of his fur. Imagine what they would look like going out for a walk😀😂😍
I have a male Pyr, and I’ve been collecting his shed fur this fall. I’ve already handspun a ball of fur yarn.

Princess Smoochie is recent enough I remember watching and being gobsmacked at how much hair came off. Particularly the instances where you just reached over to (gently) pull a huge swatch of the stuff free!

Aww, this was so fun to see. I think I've said this before, but I am SO glad you wear that hat to protect your airways and lungs from (at least, a majority) of the dog hair. It's a brilliant idea. I think Nala cracked me up the most, since she's so expressive. I may just be forgetting, but I'm not sure if I ever saw the original Finnish Laphund video - wow, what a cute dog that is!! (Wikipedia says they were used to herd reindeer. 😯) And Princess Smoochie takes the crown, - it's funny that you just recently groomed her.

I had a great Pyrenees and she lived to 14, so not surprised with the amount of hair. Because in my household, there was hair everywhere in your food on your clothing and oh my God if I didn’t vacuum every day, it looked like you hadn’t vacuumed for a week if you missed one day.. I had a sign at my door that said no outfit is complete without dog hair. Thanks for sharing.
Content idea! Each year in December you should do a count down of the top ten most satisfying grooms you’ve done that year! Kind of like a new years count down thing! ☺️
For the immense amount of flying fluff, the “ in another world” gaze of the dog and Vanessa wearing a coat of fur, the Great Pyrenees gets my top vote!! So oddly satisfying to watch these defloofing videos!! ❤️

I was standing in my kitchen making breakfast about 10 minutes ago and my six year old walked in. He said, “Mom. You remember the girl who groomed Wally?”

“YEAH! Imagine that our kitchen is her grooming place and she had a dog that FILLED UP our kitchen all the way to the top with fur!”

I'd assume that Chinese crested dog would be S tier as they require the least amount of work. Or maybe that Mexican hairless breed whose name I won't even try to write.

it depends tbh. my favorites are the big fluffy shedding ones that require a long deshed/demat like great pyrenees, alaskan malamute, etc. but other groomers most likely would not agree lol

Yay - love the compilation! Looking at nr 2nd, the Great Pyrenees in his ear warmer admits a snow storm. And then his expression, priceless! Oh my gosh did your shop look afterwards 😂 And Smoochie was epic! Those flunks of hair - she had such an amazing before and after! Now a ranking which hair is the most challenging to clean afterwards 😅

The Lapphund at No. 3 was my favorite. And he still managed to look like a cute snuggle bunny.
That was mind-blowing. Some thoughts:
-Apparently malamutes are so used to blizzards that they can spontaneously produce their own
-There are two Finnish lapphunds around the corner from me, they're amazing dogs
-Duke made everything look all Halloweeny
Amazing all the fur/hair everywhere! My girl got a bath yesterday and she hated the blow dryer even more than ever. I need to buy a Hoodie to see if that helps
