Hello Tim, I bought a AXIS 500 as well in deep South Texas and use it at the ranch and it’s a great work horse. Currently been using it for deer hunting and gets the job done. I replaced the head light to LED an is much brighter also installed a winch between head rest on the cage to load the deer to bed with no problem. Over all it’s a great tool for the ranch and to have fun.
Who works on them locally? I haven't heard anything good about them. Mostly people can't get them serviced or fixed when they break. Seems no one knows...
@@nicoledamron4746, it's still under warranty so take it back to Lowe's. If they say don't bring it there, then drive around their parking lot with it on your trailer w/ a big sign that says they won't honor the warranty. That will get their attention.

It’s still in the “breaking in” stage I’m sure I just need to grease the joints

You are correct!! Mine broke down within 6 months. Electrical problems, won’t start, and they won’t come and fix it
