What if your hormones are such a mess that you can't do keto? I lost 0 fat, only muscle... I became swollen and fatigued. I was eating grass-fed local beef, vegetables, MCT oil to keep my fat intake up... my blood sugar went up instead of down because it's stressed my body so badly.
@@hollydeforge6624 Ingesting MCT oil before your body has adapted to a ketogenic diet is a bad idea, depending on your insulin resistance it can 2-6 weeks to have insulin down enough so that your ketones can finally rise. That was probably the reason you lost muscle instead of fat.
@JohnnyRockermeier it was more than that... my insulin has never been high, and my blood sugar was never high. Fasting insulin was 5 when I checked. Random insulin after having breakfast was 19. I'm not even pre-diabetic. I think it is more likely an adrenal issue. I think my cortisol was too high for my blood sugar to ever go down. I'll wake up with a fasting blood sugar of 107. I'll have a smoothie, and it'll go down to 82.
Love this man and follow his keto diet, have a keto meter and test daily, get excercise and manage my stress level. Fast occasionally, love you Proffessor!❤❤❤🇨🇦

Questions: Could you list the supplements & foods that are glutamine inhibitors? How can we test our glutamine level? What level are we shooting for in glutamine suppression (PULSE) and how long can that low level safely be maintained? What clinics in the world are allowed to use DON? Since you are in close proximity to RFK Jr., is it possible that you have an established line of communication with him. I believe he would listen to you and help you get the metabolic approach included as ‘Standard of Care’. He may help DON become more accessible.
Thank you, doctor. They removed melenoma 1.1 milllimiter and found cancer cells under arm and groin ara. I have been on Keytruda since August 2024. Your advice is very helpful. Unfortunately, my oncology team is not interested in it 😢 I do as much as I can myself, and it's not easy since I am vegetieren. God bless you and protect you. Love and Light to all ❤
All cancers are the same, the only difference is where they get their fuel from, glucose or glutamine. Meaning more emphasis on ketogenic diet or ketogenic diet plus glutamine inhibitors

The Professor is right. He has no agenda other than to help people. This must be the future standard of care or at least a choice.
