    My oncologist gave me a gift bag just before starting chemo - it contained skittles, m&m's, and various hard candies. 😡 I tossed it out, but not because I knew about "this" information. I just thought my cancer was related to being overweight and wanted to lose a few pounds... 2 years later, I'm cancer free and down 40 pounds. Also gone from keto to carnivore in this time. This video is ample motivation to never go back to my old eating patterns. Thank you! 💞

    A close friend, 34 yo was diagnosed with GBM. They gave him about 18 months to live. He immediately went home and throughout radiation, He did strict carnivore and ice baths. The doctors smirked about it. They’ve taken the 18 months to live off the table, and he has blown the doctors away with the lack of inflammation in his brain. Never got sick on chemo and now they’ve doubled up the chemo and he’s still playing golf and working. I believe he’s added many years to his life…❤❤❤ I don’t believe the doctors are smirking about his lifestyle anymore.

      Mornin!!!! Hey Freddie….. I am not a doctor so I cannot prescribe anything to you, I can only tell you what I’ve witnessed with Khyle and his cancer story. He decided to take matters into his own hands after being frustrated like you and went pure carnivore immediately, and does an ice bath every single day. he still takes his oral chemo and he has to go for brain scans, I think every two or three months. The tumor hasn’t done anything, hasn’t grown and the doctors are still very surprised. He works and golfs and loves his life for as long as it lasts, like the rest of us. I wish you the very best life has to offer you!! ✌🏼🥩

    • @jeremywillis912
      @jeremywillis912 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @evol311ve3 I would fast day before chemo to get body clean. Next day I went aggressive I did 3 chemos including oxcillaplatin and iruntothecan that work for gi,colon,liver. I would walk after chemo to spread around with almy take home pump to kill everything. I would never take pills no matter what. They go through your liver, and USA doctors are more nwo science experiments so I used weed to keep my appetite to eat and keep pain away. I used tumric tea instead of Zofran and mixed peppermint and ginger tea when chemo made me sick. I read my Bible daily and would tell Jesus if you are real save me. I wasn't really religious but when I started to pray to Jesus 50 percent went away which moved me to 12 months.... then after 11 doctors said no COH gave me a 20 percent chance with HIPEC surgery. Cut out 60 percent liver as it grows back,colon, gall bladder,5 pounds cancer. Cancer free a year a couple days ago.

When being outside... lowers toxins and sunlight raises vit D which strengthens immune system. Masks do not stop virus germs, but immediately lowers oxygen inake and raises stress level and toxin intake which all lowering immune system. Staying away fr loved ones can affect your mood creating sadness and/or depression also leading to lower immunity when happiness fr being around loved ones can raise your immunity THANK YOU FOR YOUR HONESTY. I was dx with an RCC back in 2007. I went in for kidney stones, came out with a dx of cancer. At the time it was 2cm in diameter. Over the next ten years it grew at a constant 1mm per years. In 2017 I went in to have my kidney stones looked at (up to passing one per month for the past two years) and it was discovered I had type 2 diabetes. HbA1c of 11.7%, and blood glucose of 594. At that time I forgot all about cancer, this was an immanent health threat. I followed diet and meds and exercise for one month. I saw no change. Blood sugar had been average of 250 every day for 30 days.
    I turned to my troubleshooting skills. I used my troubleshooting primarily on electronics, mechanical, starting with 20 years in the USAF on fighter jets to retirement and a career with Xerox.
    Step 1: whats the problem.
    :: Uncontrolled high blood sugar
    Step 2: Where does the sugar come from
    :: eating carbohydrates
    Step 3: Test
    :: Stop eating all carbs. Replaced with fat.
    Step 4: wow! More testing!
    :: Next day, 24 hours after initial test, BG level at 80 (from 250)
    Step 5: Keep testing
    :: at the 4 month follow up HbA1c was 5.5%
    Step 6: CURED DIABETES
    :: Continue to eat no carb, and watch for side effects.
    So I forgot about the RCC. Then one day, two years later… “oh shit!?! I forgot to have my cancer imaged. So i did that. It was smaller. Not just smaller, but shrank twice as fast as it had grown. A previous screening showed it was too large to remove by cryo-ablation. But now it was well under that limit. So instead of losing a kidney, to remove the cancer, I can have it frozen, in an outpatient appointment. So I did that, at Duke University. Its been over two years now, been checked twice, once per year after, and still no signs of cancer.

      I had been doing Keto, low-carb, and the intermittent fasting after being diagnosed with pre-diabetes. I had successfully maintained 40 lb weight loss (out of 50lbs) for more than a year, but had started eating desserts again and was getting evening sugar spikes. I have FH and a year ago had a stroke. I was prescribed Lipitor, Ezetimibe, aspirin, and scariest for me Eliquis. I gradually got off everything but low-dose aspirin and dove back into low-carb/keto, eating even more meat, fish, eggs, and yogurt. My new mantra was: No sugar, grains, or seed oils. It is really hard to go against medical advice, but I lost another 40 lbs and am exercising even more than I did before my stroke. My goal now is to gain back any muscle lost. I still have high LDL, but my triglyceride/HDL ratio is good and I think a keto/carnivore diet will keep my BG low and reduce inflammation. It’s scary, but all roads seem to lead to the ketogenic diet. 😄

    The reason I began my research to check out ketogenic eating (and I thank God every day I stumbled onto your channel almost immediately) was the death of my 58 year old kid brother Ken.
    He was the baby, I’m the eldest of 4 at 67.
    In 2021 between rounds of chemo for stage 4 colon cancer which had metastasized to liver, lungs and chest he (a diabetic) tried keto and ate like a dozen eggs a day, bacon and lots of fatty meat. His diabetes went into remission and cancer stopped growing. The first drugs had caused horrible peripheral neuropathy and the MD made him take a rest. I remember the doctor cautioned Ken did he really want quality of life or the next round of new drugs. He was feeling so good from the ketogenic lifestyle he went for the cure. The new chemo’s nausea did not permit a meat based diet, his sugar skyrocketed, tumors progressed to brain and within months on 3 Aug 21 he was dead.
    After he died one day while praying I got the thought to check out this keto stuff. I truly believe the Holy Spirit inspired me and brought me to this channel and shortly after, Dennis Pollock’s Beat Diabetes!
    After 6 months of ketovore eating my fasting insulin was 4.3 My A1C and fasting glucose has always been normal but clearly my insulin was elevated because I had a mild fatty liver.
    I only started this journey towards optimum health to achieve that fasting insulin goal and prevent me from becoming the 7th family member lost to diabetes; however, 45 pounds dropped off effortlessly and I weigh now what I did in high school and have maintained for 8 Months!!
    Thank you Doctor Berry for your crusade to steer America away from SAD. Thank you for caring, God bless you and your family and May His protection and provision be showered upon you all the days of your lives.

    A friend of mine passed away yesterday morning, she was 32 with a 1, 2 & 10 y.o. 5 years ago they found a spot on the roof of her mouth and cut her from the corner of her mouth to her ear, chemo and radiation rotted all her teeth. They said they got it all. 3 months ago she stopped over and her jaw was swollen the size of a golf ball and said she had an abscess. My response " are you sure the cancer didn't come back" 2 days later she went to the doctors and found out it metastasized to her lungs, liver & kidneys. The doctors then proceeded to give her false hope and used her as a guinea pig for experimental treatments and chemo. So her last 3 months she was to sick to spend anytime with her children. I tried to convince her to do the carnivore diet with no success. This shouldn't happen!

      Did you have any other treatment? I had abdominal pain and was referred to a gynological oncologist. Before any tests conclusive or not, she began talking about colon resectioning and compete hysterectomy. That was back in March and after a cat scan, MRI and a colonoscopy that came out healthy, I havent been back. After a quickly scheduled colonoscopy before scheduled operation, and fasting, I noticed my pain subsided so I canceled that surgery
      I now think that doctor and her colleges are out for money so I won't be back. Planning a second opinion, but prefer to heal from carnivore way of eating.

      I had at first diagnosed with cholangiocarcinoma and Primary Peritoneal carcinomatosis. They gave me Gemcitabine and Cysplatin for 10 cycles. I went into remission and still did keto. Then had ovarian cancer show up about two weeks later with Covid. So I had surgery after I healed from covid. They took all the cancerous nodules and a Apendectomy, a Hernia removal and a total Hysterectomy. I did then 3 cycles of Pacitaxol and Corsplatin.

      I got breast cancer at age 34. I did do 6 mod of chemo at that time, but chose mastectomy over radiation after doing my own research. I quit eating sugar during treatment, but gradually started eating it and junk food for the next 30 + years and gained 80 lbs. I’ve just recently changed to No Sugar, No Grains way of eating and have kept that up for a year so far. Never thought I could do it, but easier than I thought. Even though I have FH, at age 74 im moving closer and closer to a ketovore diet. I wish you the best. Maybe listen to Mary Ruddick? She’s convinced me that it’s healthy. I was diagnosed with stage 3C endometrial cancer. Although all my reproductive organs had already been removed, unknown to me or the surgeon it had metastasized to my colon and some lymph nodes. These tumors were found on a CT scan 6 months after surgery. I had already started a carnivore diet and lost 45 lbs prior to beginning chemotherapy. My own research indicated that maintaining nutritional ketosis would assist the chemo. I was teaching my body about metabolic flexibility, starving the cancer of glucose and generating ketones for fuel. The next CT scan indicated all the metastasized tumors were resolved. (Gone). I still have some cancer on my vaginal cuff and will begin Keytruda soon. Being carnivore is facilitating my healing process. I had no nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation or other weird side effects I did lose my hair, but it was fun wearing different wig styles and learning about fake eyelashes. My oncologist did not resist or support me in my nutritional choices. He probably sees a lot of death and withholds hope because patients actually die under his supervision. I appreciate his expertise but advocate for my own dietary intervention. 😋

    Mucosal melanoma here. Had surgery to remove a polyp that caused an endless bloody nose. The ENT thought it was benign but it was mucosal melanoma. I had been keto for several years to address prediabetes, which I did successfully, before my polypectomy. The pathology report came back mucosal melanoma. I started Opdivo and Yervoy before margin surgery. They removed my right middle turbinate and they found no cancer in the sample at all. I managed three doses of immunotherapy and continued keto. I had my tumor analyzed genetically and one marker suggested that the tumor would grow quickly with glucose and insulin. I continue keto and also take metformin to keep insulin low. I was diagnosed in April 2021 and started immunotherapy then. Margin surgery in May 2021. I developed colitis from immunotherapy so managed 3 doses only. I get quarterly scans and continue keto and metformin with no evidence of disease. I think keto was fundamental in limiting the damage of my cancer and keeping me clear after immunotherapy and surgery.

    Thank you, Dr. Berry, for all the information you provide.
    I was diagnosed with stage 3b colon cancer in 2019. The only "nutrition" advice I received was to ensure I ate enough to keep up my weight. I didn't want to do chemo but was pressured by my family because the doctor had them convinced that by taking it I would increase my survivability to 85%. I researched nutrition and ate fresh salads and meats, and took multiple supplements. I eliminated alcohol and sugar from my diet. At one of my oncologist appointments, my doctor reviewed my diet and told me to stop eating raw salads, stop the supplements, and that it was a fallacy that sugar fed cancer. I continued my new way of eating and just didn't tell them I was continuing. 3 years later I am NED. A year ago I was diagnosed as type 2 diabetic, and my physician looked at me and wanted to know where that came from. Sadly I had slipped back into my old eating habits. I started eating keto the next day, and have been for the last year. My last A1C was 6.0 (last test was in April 2022). She was shocked that I was able to lower my A1C in 3 months without medication and have kept it low. Working on getting it lower.

      Cancer can't oxidize sugar properly so turns it into lactate and it instead oxidizes fat. PuFA and stress hormones including estrogen caused the inability of cells to oxidize sugar therefore due to an energy deficit, the cells change form and dismantle their complex structure and return to a primative state of growth and division. Sugar didnt cause this and isnt the problem. You people are being lied to.

      Yes. For example, a person’s fasting blood glucose might be relatively low at the same time that his insulin level, which is usually not checked, might have been rising for decades. So the person might be one point away from being prediabetic, but because the line was not crossed, everything can seem all right, that the threat of diabetes isn’t a problem, all the while that the threat of diabetes could have been seen to have been a problem if the insulin level, which keeps blood glucose down, had been checked.
      Also, the standard reference ranges on your blood test, which should show numbers that reflect optimal health, often merely show numbers that reflect what’s normal for the average unhealthy person.

      You are correct. Trainers are often purveyors of misinformation, especially when it comes to nutrition. There are good ones out there though. Maybe this question could be your first screen?

      Ketoacidosis is caused by high glucose and no insulin.

    When I was teaching my online kids in China, we talked daily about what they had for lunch, dinner etc. It was mostly meat, chicken, pork, shrimp, meat-filled dumplings, some rice, or noodles with the meal, scrambled eggs with tomato, a small amount of tofu, some vegetables and some small amount of fruit as a snack...Western Chinese food seems to emphasize mountains of rice and noodles and a small dish of meat, so we should really look at what 'authentic' Chinese food is...The kids I taught over 5 years, who seemed to be gaining weight, decreased or low vitality and sickly, were the richer kids whose parents were too busy to cook and were eating a lot of fast food, especially KFC, McDonalds lots of french fries and Cola etc....

      Good point. Campbell's (in)famous China Study misrepresents the true diet IMHO.

    Such a great conversation!! Keto/low carb has changed my life! I thought I was headed for a hip replacement and 3 months into Keto no pain. My blood panel (functional medicine doc large blood work) has gotten better. I'm 60 years old and healthier than I have ever been. I was a vegan for a long time and sick as anything. Grateful for my health!

    My father passed in 2017 from stomach cancer… he was given 6 months to live in 2015. I suspect he lived three times longer than expected because it was difficult to eat and he stayed active. He was essentially forced to intermittent fast every day. Wish he knew what I’ve been learning over the last three or four months about keto/carnivore.

    My 85 year old dad died of lung cancer just over a year ago during Covid lockdown. He was at home on hospice care with morbidly obese me helping my RN/PhD Mom caring for him. Though watching your videos already, I wouldn’t start keto/IF for a few more months, but was shocked to see him being given Ensure! It was all he “ate” towards the end, and with all that sugar, he said he liked it!!!
    If only I had learned this earlier, I may have dramatically extended his life & health!
    I’ve now lost 80 of 125 pounds I gained since brain surgery/carbamazepine (carbamazepine/Tegretol depletes HORMONE D LEVELS, leading quickly to loss of homeostasis of BG, Insulin & other hormones!) It doubled my size from previous bike racing athletic physique.

      Indeed, the processed food industry knows how to make foods we like to consume. It would be nice if it was also healthy.

      @@dr.davidg.harper368 BigFood, BigAg & PHARMA are all colluding to feed us profitably addictive crap that will sicken us and make us chronically dependent on PHARMA in one insanely profitable loop.
      To top it off, they tell us to avoid the life-giving, immune-enhancing sunlight, so we are also miserably D deficient/insufficient.

    Sydney, Australia. Thank you for your efforts in educating the world, Dr. I’m not fully keto, but one meal a day is, and my second and last meal every day may include a smalll amount of basmati rice (my wife is Persian), or potato (I’m Irish). I’ve lost 23 kg sinceFebruary 2022.

    You need to do a video with Thomas Seyfried, in his interview with Judy he stated he did not find a cancer that can survive without glucose or glutamine. That statement goes directly against this guy who stated some cancers can survive on fatty acids. Seyfried mentioned that directly, he stated people who state that don’t know how to interpret their own data. Hope you read this and follow through with the interview.
