My theory is that Salem was a failed living mascot, so they never introduced the living version to the park, but she got mad and escaped and brainwashed the mascots with her potion, I don’t see any blood on molly or around the landing pad so they probably escaped before Molly could kill the children but Lloyd probably had a whole theatre filled with people so he started attacking
I think the characters WERE good, but were turned evil by Salem’s potions they make/something happened that was caused by Salem’s influence. If you play the digital game, when you find Mollie, Salem throws a potion which turns Mollie evil. I think maybe this is what happened. Again- could be wrong but Salem is weirdly absent from the park tbh. Their ride part in the train that has their cutout is broken in half too.
I wonder if Salem is actually hiding as Rambly, given he says nothing about them, as if they don't exist, and this is where the train breaks down. It's in this section where we come across the Molly animatronic who spits out "Not Rambly. He hurts Lloyd. He hurts Lloyd" between corrupted dialog. This can be taken as either "Rambly isn't my friend" as in Rambly isn't to be trusted or "That isn't Rambly."
My theory is Salem (it's pronounced Sail-lum, like the city in Massachusetts, also the notorious name for the witch trials) probably found a way to clone the living characters, giving the arcade game showed Salem was able to make Mollie corrupted. I'm willing to bet there's another Mollie and Lloyd somewhere, along with some of the others, hiding from the monsters in the surface. Monster Lloyd's mane also strikes as odd, because it's brown, not red-orange, hence why I think he's a clone of the real Lloyd. It makes sense because near the end, we see Finley's eyes are still white, meaning he didn't get caught yet. Plus, the living mascots were probably to help makeup for the lack of people who were supposed to be the mascot costume performers.

I believe that during indigo park, the employee's were being replaced with mascots, according from the rambliy mask. However, they say mascots, as in that they're not people in costumes. Which means that they're living mascots in the park. The reason why the park shutdown is because one of the mascots attacked somebody. They're lucky to evacuate everybody, but some lives were lost. I'm not sure what caused the mascots to attack, but people say it could have been somebody corrupting the mascots like in the arcade game.
I actually quite enjoyed this game, unlike most mascot horror games nowadays, it had soul, passion and effort oozing throughout the entire chapter. I hope the developers are successful if they continue this high quality content because so far they deserve it. And fun fact, the lead dev was the same guy who made a much better version of garten of ban ban in a week

I'm hoping for big things for this game. Rambely is a great creature, and his interactions with the player are delightful. It's not the scariest game ever, but maybe that will change later on.

One Interesting Secret is that in the arcade game that is near the door to molly's landing pad there is a area you can drop down and not die (immediately) where you find molly's sprite in a cage (which likely connects to the death dialogue that molly repeats "get back in your cage bird")
A cool detail abaut molly, if you look at one off the train ride pics you can see her walk along the tracks, she also peeks around the corner when you look back after entering the storage area in the theathre
There was an audio log that you can hear if you click on the the mascot head collectible while at the information booth. I’d check it out if I were you.
Based on the animatronic mollys and the actual mollys dialogue after the live mascots were created the enplyes that wore the mascot costumes started attacking the mascots with the guy that wore the rambly mascot costume attacking loyed and the quy that wore the stanley the stunk costume being the reason all the mascots other than rambley being monsters
This think brought poppytime brings toys to life by humans but something different about them, them acting will self-control even if still hostile unlike in poppy playtime.
Was so burnt out on mascot horror until I played this one, it is AMAZING. Glad to see the Chapter 2 kick starter has double its goal in only a couple days! Hopefully that will lead to an early release

Well, he knows everything more than a normal ai knows, he is smarter than you think, when we were chased by mollie, rambley knew she was trying to kill us so rambley let us in the employee only room, and shut down the door causing mollie to die and her head fell off her body, rambley always gives us warnings and stuff, mollies animatronic also says "Lloyd hurt us" so maybe Lloyd (the living lion) either killed rambley and the animatronics Lloyd knew that rambley hated him.
he doesn't need to remember how long it's been. he can check the system logs. when your os wakes up from sleep/hibernation it logs the time when it wakes up and by subtracting the time the sleep/hibernation was called, it can be calculated how long the computer was sleep/hibernating. as complex he is, there will be daemons that job is to log events for development/debugging purpose.
I have a few theories on what's going to happen in chapter 2 first off I think that we're going to see new enemies in chapter 2 I think we're going to see Finley the sea serpent and Salem the skunk as well and we could also see some new areas of the park we could even find out more about Salem the skunk we might even discovered that they even had their own attraction in the park but those are just my predictions for what could be in chapter 2 of indigo Park
I haven't played the game, but I do believe that there's a Salem AI that will eventually replace Rambley just before the living mascot Rambley chase scene.

Yet the mascot and AI versions are separate entities. Not to mention that it can be suspected that when the player reaches Salem's area is when the Salem AI replaces Rambley. Most of theories are coming from Let's plays I've seen and partially from what I've seen thrown around in theory videos.

that game is a nice mix between Security Breach and Poppy Playtime. I think it has potential.
