It`s not the best drill press out there but for the price you cant beat it . It does everything I need it to do !!!

Good vodeo. One problem and that's with the drill press operator! ALWAYS clamp the work piece to the table to avoid the drill bit binding causing the work piece to swing around causing injury. I can't tell you how long it took me to really learn that lesson. But I can tell you it HURT.

Can anyone tell me how loud this is as I would love to have it,but as I have neigbours would it bee too loud if I used it for say 5/10 minutes a day?

If that metal piece let go with the amount of force and pressure you had on it, you would have no thumbs to give a thumbs up.

You ran the 1/2 inch bit too fast slow it down a it won't bog down due to increased torque from speed reduction.
