What A Drive: Route 26 from Woodsfield to Marietta Ohio

I had a great drive during the summer on Route 26 in Ohio. This route went from Woodsfield to Marietta and what a drive it was. Beautiful small communities , old mill, old buildings and covered bridges lined this road. I had a blast and hope you enjoy some of the finds. #ohio #drive #mariettaohio #coveredbridge

I used to camp out on the other side with of Hune Bridge with my buddies back in highschool. You could still drive on it then. So many good times. I remember my buddies and on that bridge saying how we would be friends forever after highschool. Wonder where they are now?

After wingett run you passed the lawerence church and cemetery on the left where most of my family are buried ❤
There was a covered bridge when you passed country road 9 that splits to the left that is beautifully preserved.
You also passed my husbands work at the very end. I could see his car parked behind the fence ❤
