We wanted something solid and on the more rigorous side. We can always tone down and make it easier or slow down, but I don’t want to buy an expensive curriculum and then have to supplement on top of that. Abeka is fantastic!
Exactly!!! You can always adjust it, but you don’t want to have to question whether your curriculum is enough. I don’t even have to think about that with Abeka like I have with other programs!! Thank you for chiming in!! 🙌🏼 totally agree.

I agree with you! We absolutely love Abeka. I do parentled but I do plan to switch to DVD again once they're in high school b/c they'll be independent enough to sit through the lessons. I appreciate your review. It's nice to see K4 more in depth. I'll be getting that next school year.❤
I love the videos too! Definitely better when they can be trusted with independent work, but I still incorporate some supervised video lessons while I work sometimes and that has been so helpful too! But I just love how easy it is to teach with these lesson plans!!
I just found your channel! I subscribed! Looking forward to checking out some of your other videos!! I’m a homeschool mom of 4 and also have a TH-cam channel where I share our homeschool journey too. To answer your question about hair at the start, I don’t always do my hair in general, I will sometimes do my hair for a sit down video but some times it’s just up in a messy bun. My hair is usually up somehow because with littles I find it gets in the way. 😊

I would also like to note the readiness skill book shown in your lesson plan book is from a previous edition. The new edition doesnt use that book but replaces it with "writing with phonics" instead and you can see it on the new lesson plan book cover.

Girl no I do not do my hair. I’m a stay at home mom and have too much to do to worry with my hair. I just pull it up in a ponytail and get on with my day

Not a TH-camr but I don’t do mine everyday. I have seen a lot of homeschool moms that curl their hair using socks so they just sleep and wake up “done”
I have yet to try the heatless curls but it’s such a good idea!! Lately I’m more of a slicked back bun type of girl, because it’s so much easier 😂
