      I do agree in a general sense, but in this situation I didn't agree with Worf. He shouldn't be singling out a fellow officer in a semi military organization (who signed up knowing the risks), telling them that they can't come along because it's dangerous.

      Well, even in the Great Depression, women still had their hair done. If you see, "Places in the Heart," Sally Fields' friend with the Coca-Cola is a hairdresser. Maybe Worf was less concerned with Dr. Crusher's ability to defend herself, but more concerned with her possible attraction to the baddest boy on the planet.

    • @emdee7744
      @emdee7744 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Nope. It is a stun setting. "Full power" or "set to kill" is when you're vaporized.

      @kevingallineauii9353 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      IIRC it is the highest non-lethal setting. If you have seen video or pictures of the phaser setting lights it is half-way, the full first bar, which is green. I believe the permanent damage/lethal lights are on the second bar of light and the leather ones (not the whole second bar) are red. Keep in mind different species are more resilient and a lethal setting might be necessary to stun. My guess is that the highest stun setting is considered sufficient to incapacitate any humanoid.

      Maximum stun pushes people back and disintegrate makes them giggle.
