[4K] Rare Visitors! Famous "Frecce Tricolori" Arriving at Leeuwarden

During wet, challenging weather conditions and at the same time battling my umbrella, I filmed the arrival of 11 MB339 aermacchis from the well-known Italian display team Frecce Tricolori at Leeuwarden air base.
They came in with pouring rain for a fuel stop enroute to RAF Lossiemouth togo forwards to Canada.

Mooie opname Arjan! Op de fiets was het in deze regen helaas niet te doen voormij anders had ik er ook gestaan. Wel geniaal dat ze met dit slechte weer alsnog een formatie landing deden met z'n vieren

Yes, the reds are absolutely the best, but I have always had great admiration for Frecce, partly due to the fact that I witnessed the terrible flying accident at Ramstein air base in 1988. 👍

@@32tfs hi, regarding Ramstein... well we have many doubts about the causes, actually... read the story of the Ustica disaster... the guys from P.A.N. (Freccie tricolori) There are pilots who carry out daily training that lasts years... such an accident was impossible in normal conditions!!!!!

The Frecce Tricolori are universally recognized as the best aerobatic team in the world and this has been consolidated for decades!!!...
They perform tricks that most patrols in other countries DO NOT do due to their danger!!! (including the Red Arrows) and above all they do it with 10 planes instead of 9... which increases the difficulty to even greater levels!!!
