I've seen a lot of videos on this topic that are unnecessarily long, skip steps, and didn't generate the correct metadata. So I figured it would be beneficial to the community if I made this video!

hi there Reece, i got most of it, just when you dragged your layer images such as eyes, skin, etc, where are those pics coming from? where do you make or get free cool accesories and body parts images haha
Help! How did you get the skin, eyes, etc. You dragged them from somewhere, but where?
PRO TIPS!!! - You MUST have every layer nested in a folder, even if it's a folder with only one layer inside of it. This caused the script to fail, and it took me days to figure it out. Also, if you want the rarity to work effectively, create an empty layer within each folder that has a rare item and give it a #100. This will cause the generator to select the empty layer much more frequently than your rare item. Example: I want sunglasses to be super rare, so I label my layer "sunglasses#5.png" and nest it under a folder called "Sunglasses". It's the only item in the folder and I assume since I added #5 to it, it will show up 5% of the time - WRONG. The generator looks at 5% compared to all other layers within the same folder. This means that since the generator has no other options to pull from, it will actually select the glasses 100% of the time. No go back, create an empty layer, label it something like "NoSunglasses#100", then add to the "Sunglasses" folder. Now the generator will weight your #5 against the empty #100 and you will get the results you expect. Do this for each folder that has some rare item that you don't want appearing 100% of the time. EXCELLENT ADVICE!! My rarity was NOT working properly until I figure out this same concept and added blank .pngs. I set mine to 50% but i may do 100% to make more rare.

If you're following my tutorials for uploading to candy machine, you'll need it set as image.png because it will get automatically changed to to the correct baseURI when you upload to arweave

I’m stuck on the “git clone” portion. When I type, “git” is yellow and clone is the normal color. Then an error comes up after i paste the link and enter. It won’t let me type “git” where you type it. It types a space away

I drew the art myself. If you want to list your collection on a secondary marketplace, you'll have to contact them about it
@@ReeceHunter @reecehunter what graphic design app/platform did you use? Did you free hand all of them? How many did you start with and i guess you saved them as images/jpgs? Just a few and then it randomly added and created new NFTs without you drawing each separately as pictured?
