For us (our kids are 23 and almost 20), it was talking. We always talked...about everything. Nothing was taboo, nothing would get anyone in trouble. We always felt that open communication helped us get through the times when people wanted to throw things! Plus, for our kids as teens, we realized that we could build fences as high as we thought necessary to keep them away from less desirable things but we also knew that they'd find a way to get a better trampoline to see over those walls. Everything is better on your terms than someone else's. We've been very blessed to have great kids (especially considering the gene pool) but we also worked hard to have those clear, concise open lines of communication. Keep it up! Great work as always!
Keeping people "in their Gift Zone". Well put! Manners, hot buttons, no yelling....Sooo much 'Yes!' for this video. To date, this is my KYD #1 Favorite video! So true for RV life and life in general. You two make a great team and inspire and lift us all up with you. Thank You for sharing your love for life and people with others. Your words and actions are truly a gift!
The 5 Love Languages changed our family's life years ago and we share it with as many people as we can. My son even made the girl he had been dating over a year take the test when he started considering marriage. Everything about how they communicate changed for the better and the wedding is next December! Thanks for sharing that and the other book suggestions. If you can't talk at home, being in an RV for any length of time could get really ugly, really fast. :-)
I am a big fan of communicating to others how *I* am feeling. For example, “I had a rough commute so I’m a bit grumpy at the moment. It’s not you.” Then, my husband knows my sour expression isn’t because of him, and he knows to give me some chill time. Or recently, I didn’t feel well, so I told my daughter, “Hey, I’m not really in the mood to play because my stomach kinda hurts.” Then, she knows what’s going on and doesn’t take it personally. This really heads off a lot of unnecessary hurt feelings based on misinterpretations that snowball.
Keep Your Daydream, I totally understand not yelling at each other while backing in. For my grandparents and I, when we would go traveling my job was to put out our slides and help my papa with anything he needed help with. Man, you and Tricia are the cutest couple on TH-cam!!
My wife and I are in the middle of an across the country rv trip with our two pre-teen daughters. Pulled into the KOA on the north side of El Paso tonight and fired up the laptop and your video came up on recommended section...could not have been more perfect timing! Funny how that works. We have been on the road for about three weeks and today was not a good day, kids fighting, and fighting, I lost it when I missed the turn off of I10 and couldn't figure out the "immediate" left turn lanes..profanities flew and I immediately felt bad. We all sat down and watched this video...simple and basic things that we should all remember to do. Thank You!
Yeah, we've been there too! We now try to keep drive days to under 4 hours (ish) as they can't resist poking each other after awhile. 2-3 hours drive days is the sweet spot. They do get better the longer you go. Maybe the parents get better ignoring stuff too! :)
I TRULY hope more people stumble across this channel (and especially, watch THIS video). I've been binge watching the past week or so. With the exception of a few "tense moments" (no judging, things happen LOL) you've all been very supportive of one another. I'm going to share this video on my Facebook page in the hope that some of my friends/family might wander over and enjoy your channel as much as I do and more importantly, can gain from some of your observations like those expressed in THIS particular video. Mom always taught me, growing up, if I didn't have anything good to say then to think twice (or in my case, three times 🤣) before saying anything at all. We live in, increasingly, a digital age where people spend far too much of their free time online rather than LIVING life in the real world. Yeah, maybe a little bit of judgment from me on that. haha. The point I want to make is there are far too many who are AGGRESSIVE online; keyboard warriors and digital bullies. We don't have to be family for the values you are talking about here to be applied. If more strangers actually started taking the time to understand one another, to talk and have an actual dialogue, then perhaps life around the world would start getting better. Thanks again for taking us along on your journey. -Michael
We watch your channel because of the way we see you interact as a family. We love your kindness and fun loving way with one another. This video helped us understand how you are the the way you are. Thanks for your family dynamic and the videos!
We use the radios too, best thing ever! We're a family of 6 and everyone had one. When our kids go to the park, ride their bikes or take a walk; they have to carry one. Ours (mom & dad) also has weather alert and flashlight (great when you set up at 10PM). Our kids are young, so we didn't break the bank on theirs.
Trish has said this before, but good food is our main key of getting along! My trailer has no counter space so it can be difficult, but I'm learning what I can do in there and I cook more when we camp than I do at home, I'm looking forward to Trish's cook book! Also breathe right strips. Something about being in a trailer with someone who snores makes it echo, nobody will be in a good mood if they can't sleep through the night!
We are book people too and that includes what we call "Freading" which means "Faux Reading", i.e. listening to books. Love you guys and look forward to your videos every week.
Your insights do not have to apply to just RVing, but fit into everyone's everyday life. Well done on getting that awesome inspiration out to all who listen.
As a yacht delivery captain and former corp. captain, we both love to travel. That said, when we pull into a camp site, we have defined roles. We do use walkies and after the trailer is in the proper spot, I take care of all the outside stuff, electrical, water, sewer and so on. My wife is inside, seeing what may have fallen, getting out the rug, chair and what have you. Once done........BEER TIME! The only time we has "issues" was after a 14 hour drive to Texas, pulled in late, stayed hooked up and crashed around 11 pm. The next day, both of us wiped out we got into for a few and then started cracking up, we were thrift storing it, and said to hell with and went back to the park. bbq steaks and maggies!!
our little family just got our first hard sided travel trailer and took our first trip this weekend. After binge watching about 50% of your videos I implemented some strategies and the biggest improvement was the use of radios!!! My wife and I have been towing boats for 12.5 years together and were always the ones yelling. The use of radios completely changed the atmosphere of backing up a trailer. My wife even commented on Sunday morning about the other RVs departing while yelling at each other trying to get reconnected.
Wish we would've known about this about 5 yrs ago. We rented a class C and drove to Baton Rouge for my daughters graduation. Mom, dad, mother in law, wife, kid and 2 lil yip yip dogs for over 5000 miles was VERY trying on patience to say the least. Safe to say that a trip like that WILL NOT happen like that again. Separate vehicles probably would've been an easier option for sanity sake. The park where you guys are looks amazing.
I Love you guys and your videos...I watch your videos a lot. I'm a single father of 2 and looking into homeschooling and traveling too. YOU HAVE INSPIRED ME. (KYD) GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY.
I'm SOOOO planning to show this to my gang. We are working on how to have wonderful memories with our new-to-us RV. My son is so excited about all of the adventures we can take. He has loved watching your family and the fun you're having. Your son Caleb would be his very best bud. They're so much alike!
When we go on family trips, my husband and I let my kids know that we need quiet time we say its time to play the quiet game and we give them the reasons why. t Each kid has their own plan of action and it has worked like a charm. THANK YOU for the video!!
This is good advice for getting along as a family period. At home, on a trip, on a walk, at the movies. RV living or stick and bricks living, good tools. Good advice guys!
Trish and Marc, I love your videos. I love the way your work together, the commentary switches back and forward between you and how you are so on the same page. Your unity is something I admire. My best wishes to you all. You're inspiring.
💡Also another great book suggestion is The Four Agreements: A Practical Guide To Personal Freedom by Don Miguel Ruiz. I strive to incorporate them in my every day life as well. 1. Be Impeccable with your Word 2. Don’t Take Anything Personally 3. Don’t Make Assumptions 4. Always Do Your Best
Good relationship approach for any close relationship (s) any place. Knowing and talking other dear people' s two primary love languages is so important! Glad you mentioned this.
We love watching your families journeys !!! You do such a fantastic job of the editing and information that you cover !!! We are so ready to do this daydream and are planning as I type !!! We have one son who is 13 and homeschooled ,hubby is an engineer and I am a part time nurse .... so .... next job is to figure out how to successfully accomplish our daydream quicker with an income source ..... keep the videoed coming because it gives us hope !!! Just got finished today with homeschool classical conversation practicum and the things you guys covered in this video are exactly what we discussed this week for raising the teenagers !!! Awesome information !!! Have fun !! The Boykin family
Smart - to wait for the others to "wake up slowly." ;-)) Great words of wisdom. You guys have learned a lot. It's always great to see and hear you share with us.
OMG, two things saved our ability to go RV together and save our marriage, lol. A backup camper for the trailer and a set of walkie talkies. Once we had both, it changed everything!! We've also developed a routine for setting up and breaking down, which helps a lot!
In today's world it is so great to see a TEAM, Family work together for the dream and you both do very well. Keep it up because it gives enjoyment and hope to others seeking similar.
Great suggestions. My wife and have been RVing for 30 years and our kids and grandkids and have all traveled with us so we know where you are coming from. In 5 years we are going to retire as full time RVers. Safe travels
You guys are so cute. I love your take on everything when it comes to a "realistic " family unit. You mentioned in one of your videos that the holiday is not just the destination but the trip there. We have always done that as a family, the fun starts as soon as we lock the front door and get in the car, it's so important. Most of our holiday funny sayings and memories come from the road trip. You have such an awesome message and example for all those who want to travel as a family, thank you😃👍🏼
The hubby and I have set a goal: "Location Independent" by Fall 2018. Your TH-cam channel is an invaluable resource, so thanks so very much!! We are both enjoying the RV research and can't wait to get on the road in just a little over 12 months. I realized a few weeks ago that Marc's voice sounds *so* familiar...and today it hit me: Marc, you sound **just like** Bradley Whitford (from The West Wing)! Sorry if you've been told that a million times already. Thanks again!
Sweet. Great goal. It took us a couple years too. Check out our podcast too on our website or iTunes. Lots of location indie stuff there. We also listen to Tropical MBA. I'll check out Bradley Whitford. Never heard that before.
Just got back from a seven day trip to the St. Joe River Idaho. Wonderful trip but had a few challenges so wish I had seen this episode prior.......made us giggle at some of our behavior. As always love you guys and find your family an inspiration!
Oh!!! I am so going to quote you! "You don't love your parents because they are perfect, you love them because they are them.' I am going to Facebook right now! Thank you.
Been foollowing your advevntures off and on. Love the way your family is so together,, shows what great parents and roll models you both are. Your advise and common sense make your path work. You both are stellar examples of good honest people living life as it should be lived, its called by many names, but adventure, lifes journey and walkabout fit the bill. You have wonderful children who have grown tremendously trough your journey. We have a picture on our wall which states "that all who wander are not lost", that's apropo for you all.....thanks for the journey! Hope you see you out there next year!!!
I'm compelled to tell you guys that you are a really good looking couple, Trish you are beautiful and you have a beautiful family; you all have awesome personalities! :D Thanks for sharing your wonderful adventure and your fun, loving family!
We are going to go on our FIRST RV trip. NC to Utah, leaving this Saturday. On our short trips, we "were", the people yelling just as you explained. I had walkies we used years ago, pulled them out, powered up and ready. Thanks for the great idea...
Happens. We've been those people too! Enjoy the trip. I really wish I would have included not reacting on an RV to kids, spouses or other drivers. Just let it happen, think about it and then talk. Reminding myself that every day :)
Really enjoy the videos as fellows Arizonans from payson. Being where you are you may want to tour the bruchart gardens. Makes the Monterey beach flowers love walk look like a back yard garden. You will have to drag Trisha out. It's the whole six senses thing, not just what you see or smell, you can feel the beauty at the many little stop and rest benches. If Trisha is your flower in life it will be as a family reunion for her as well as torrid. Best wishes.
We have learned to use cell phones to communicate. The driver is on Bluetooth in the truck and the helper has her phone. This is extremely helpful when we arrive at our destination late at night.
As always great video with great advice. A lot of what you talked about was spot on. As I was growing up rving was a jeep CJ5 with a 13' trailer camping in the mountains of Colorado. What great memories. If you can imagine we were a family of 5 plus a black lab in a jeep with camping gear. Talk about small spaces. Walkie talkies are one of the best tools for rvers. Being in the hardware business, I get a lot of rvers in all the time. It is fun giving them advice and hearing where they are from and what is working for them. And we get a lot of rvs because of glacier park. Keep up the great work. Always uplifting. God bless.
Perfect vlog. You hit on something that everyone needs to know. I love Gary chapmans book. I learned so much from it years ago when it first came out. And I learned a few thousand NGOs from what you shared that I will apply to my own family. Thankyou. You guys really are special
Going on our first weekend of camping in a travel trailer next weekend...looking forward to making memories together as a family....hope it goes well but it doesn't matter we will have fun..love your videos so much, we have watched everyone of them and learn something on all of them.thanks for your info and keep it coming!
I wrote that before I saw the whole video.....wow, i think I’m a supper mom, but you are truly inspirational.... I wish I had the encouragement attitude that up I do on the ear;u years of my parenting. We homeschooled for 17 years and were some of the pioneers of homeschooling and we have so much to learn...you are amazing!!!!!
Welcome to Vancouver Island!! LOVE your videos 😊 We bought our first RV and are moving our family of 5 (well, 6 when you count the dog 🐶)into it full time for 2-3 months while our house is built. Looking forward to applying so many of your great tips! Thanks a bunch!!
About to go on our first rv trip ever on August 26 2020. Husband and 2 boys 7 and 8. I love watching you guys do this full time with your boys. Tori is great too but the boys remind me of mine
Being new to the channel, I can see how you can RV with 3 teenagers...parental wisdom and perspective! Your advice is spot on and "setting each other up for success" is the way to build great relationships with EVERY person in your life. My kids are 36 and 27 and we still are best friends because I got the same great advice when they were tiny. Thanks for these gems of wisdom and talking about a subject that makes travel so much more fun with your beloveds. Looking forward to coming along on the ride with you...
love the videos you guys send out, I have been watching since the first series, great entertainment and very amusing, but I have to say Tricia talks with her hands, it really is amusing, I think she could sign for deaf people, you would not need subtitles, but keep on doing what you do, thank you for the ride x
When we travel in our RV,I like to have a bag prepared for each of our 3 daughters, from crossword puzzles, ,markers, notebook, favorite gum, healthy snack, for the twins that are teens,to new coloring book, colors, stickers, and blind bags 1-2 for each day out on the road for the 7 yr old,,and we have it where they can watch DVDs while traveling,so I will surprise them with a new movie to watch We also use walkie talkies,,it helps SO much for when backing into our site our at the gas station or restaurant ,, Our rule is that when we are leaving a place or backing up,everyone is to watch their sides for cars and remain quite,no music ,no nothing until we are safely in our space or on the road,,we learn this the hard way after my husband hit a water hose and it was spraying everywhere,it tore up the back of our trailer,,so now all of us have a job to help when we are backing up and parking I believe it's important that each of us does our jobs it makes it a pleasant trip for all of us,,we tend to get along better and enjoy spending time together more when we respect each other's space but also help out when chores are needing to be done,,after all it's all of our vacation, not just one of us,, Great tips,we really enjoy your life though vlogging,,,thanks
Good advise! Hubby & I tried to use our walkie talkies but he has this thing of saying more than needs to be said, I can't tell him to stop because he is about to hit something, if his finger is on the talk button. So we use our cell phones. That way I can tell him to "Shut Up! and Listen!" LOL
Awesome tips. We use the radio's too. Learned that the hard way not using them. Big dent in the top of the ladder. How are you guys liking BC so far? Regarding all the aweful wildfires, make sure you stay well informed, on the Island and before going back to the mainland. Vancouver might be a good place for your next meet up, no!?!?
Thanks great you tube, I love audible, I got it because my drive to work was about 35-40 min ea way. So I started listening to books in the car about 10 yrs ago.
We can all use "life lesson" reminders. Thank you. Love the book recommendations. Another quality video. Love the background music, and birds! Looking forward to season 3 vids. We are SO looking forward to Rv'ing next year. Ted & Lee Ann
Great information! I have a list of rules for people who travel with me and there basic. I asked the people who travel with me to make a list of things they want to do on the trip and things they require when they travel. Most of the time I travel with the same people, but two years ago I and twenty seven of my friends went to Sturgis . One of my friends invited a new person none of us had ever met. This guy was told the time and place to bring his motorcycle to load in my stacker trailer. He was hour and a half lat then wanted to take all the bikes out so his bike would be in the front of the trailer because it bounces less, didn't happen! I don't allow smoking in my coach, he lit up on several times and I reminded him not to. Complained about everything. Once there we started dinner and each person were responsible for any special items they wanted, ( steak, fish, brink ) all other food and beverage we all pitched in and purchased. Grilling steaks the first night my brother counted the steaks and said we're one short, he didn't bring any! as a matter of fact we found out he didn't bring anything and didn't pitch in on the other items. Let me just say he didn't ride back home in my coach! It's amazing to me how one person can put a damper on a good time! I needed a physicist on that trip. keep the rubber on the road. Sorry for the rant!
Newbie here but totally hooked watching as your RV life unfolds! I’ve been binge watching all your fun posts! Hope to meet you on the road soon! We live in Tampa, Florida!
Awesome video guys! I love how genuine y'all are! Thank you for showing how much fun a family can have, just being together. I truly hope I can have my own "daydream" with my wife and two little boys too! May the Lord continue to keep you and your family safe and continue to strengthen your love for one another as y'all continue to have these journeys of a lifetime! I will continue to keep your entire family in my prayers!
Hey guys my wife and I love your videos. We are going on our first RV trip next week to Vancouver island for two weeks. Full time RV might be in our future so trying this out will be good practice. We started watching your Alaska videos and man we were hooked so we started on season 1 and on the end of season 2. Again love the content and your kid Caleb is a nut 😂. Thanks guys
Great video! Put the radio's at the top of your must have list. We have them they bring the tension down so much. You are right on the mark with this one.Trish no hand today?
One thing My wife and I found that works for backing is the cellphones instead of radios. If you have hands free in your vehicle it means the driver doesn't have to key a radio or try to hold a radio and back at the same time. And most of the time the batteries aren't dead either.
Great channel look forward to the uploads. Good energy and we know that is not always easy with full time career and wrangling a family . Good luck on your travels and keep us updated.
Will you guys still raising the bar?! Great advice, not just for RV life, but life in general. My new favorite vlog from KYD, and maybe... no, I think definitely, of all vlogs! Till next week anyway, where I'm sure you will raise the bar.... again...
I would think that after a year on the road your chain of events when you pulled into a site would be pretty well set. Some really great ideas and such a wonderful presentation. Thanks for Sharing
Your whole family is really good at this and even if I was not into RVing I would still watch you because everyone is so likable. You both should be very proud. Three questions...vehicle/trailer repairs...medical issues...are you flying by the seat of your pants or do you have any advance planning regarding these two.....Also, what kind of drone do you have to get the great aerial videos? I'm in the market. Thanks...no need to rush on the answers........If you ever have any questions about tennis don't hesitate to ask😀
I am definitely going to check out that Personality book. Thanks for the tips, I am going to get some radios before our next trip so I won't be yelling over the diesel :)
Love this so much. I agree, the 5 Love Languages is definitely a MUST. Great video you guys! I so appreciate all of the value you pack into each episode.
Great video!!!!!!! These are all good things for everyone in everyday life, RVing or at Home or in life. Thank you so much for posting this. All good lessons. You guys rock!!!!! Thank you and We Love your family!
put some more examples of when you guys aren't following these 5 tips so perfectly in your vids...I'm not convinced that you guys aren't perfect LOL! I really identified with bringing the sarcasm home from work to the fam, so easy to do and not even think about it. Keep up the great work guys, can't wait until your vids catch up to your time in Oregon!
You're right, but I'm not much in the mood to turn on the camera when the kids are being a pill. Plus, the comments get crazy enough as it is... no reason to make it worst!
Always great resources from you guys. Your channel has helped us so much. If it's possible can you make a video on the overall truck/trailer/hitch setup and how you navigate through the steep grades of the mountains?
👍Loved these tips for if/we I get out there on the road (these are also great for car/any vehicle road trips). Love the suggestion about the 5 Love Languages - I read it many years ago & try to incorporate in all aspects of every day life. 💞
Hey Guy's, Having walkie talkies to use while backing up your RIG works so much barter than screaming directions to one another. Hugs, Sandy abd Jay Livesay

Even though we don’t have an rv, I’m going to have my whole family watch this episode. So many good reminders for when we are together.
I love this message. Setting up your kids for success, playing to their gifts - exactly! So simply, so easy to forget.

He has loved watching your family and the fun you're having. Your son Caleb would be his very best bud. They're so much alike!
When we go on family trips, my husband and I let my kids know that we need quiet time we say its time to play the quiet game and we give them the reasons why. t
Each kid has their own plan of action and it has worked like a charm.
Thanks Cynthia!
💡Also another great book suggestion is The Four Agreements: A Practical Guide To Personal Freedom by Don Miguel Ruiz. I strive to incorporate them in my every day life as well.
1. Be Impeccable with your Word
2. Don’t Take Anything Personally
3. Don’t Make Assumptions
Heritage America with three kids and two spare wheels. So charming, so solid.
Good stuff!
Love that you linked 5 love languages, it's great to find out how to understand individuals...
You have such an awesome message and example for all those who want to travel as a family, thank you😃👍🏼
Thanks Carol. Our next trip starts in 5 min. It's a surprise :)
Stop it. Keep going. No, stop it! :) Thx for the comment.
Random Rachael Ditto!
Random Rachael I agree!!!
My wife has said that KYD is our own, personal Justin Timberlake and Reese Witherspoon.....LOL
We use our cell phones on speaker instead of walkie talkies. You are very right, yelling can be misinterpreted and it sounds awful. Safe travels😊
Yeah, speaker phone or bluetooth is good. Not as fun :) but it works!
We did it today! Check out our Instagram. You're right...amazing. The video should be great.
We have learned to use cell phones to communicate. The driver is on Bluetooth in the truck and the helper has her phone. This is extremely helpful when we arrive at our destination late at night.
Love the "fill you up" and "gift zone."
God bless.
Your video is so sharp, it looks like you're sitting in front of a backdrop!! Great helps!! The radio's have been an awesome addition to rv'ing! 😄
Great advice for not only family but I thought it would apply to small work group.
Thank you for staying real.
Have fun! Take your time and remember you have plenty of time!
OMG!!! This is every family, every where. I would have missed this in your stage of family. I’m amazed at your wisdom!!!!
I’m >40 but can i be one of your kids???? Haha just for fun.
You guys are champions. These skills should be used by all on a daily basis. Thanks.
We use the term "sterile cockpit" during important moments in flight. Definitely going to do the same with our RV'ing!
You guys should be very proud of yourselves. You're the best parents!
Best parents... with editing!
Thanks Julie!
love the videos you guys send out, I have been watching since the first series, great entertainment and very amusing, but I have to say Tricia talks with her hands, it really is amusing, I think she could sign for deaf people, you would not need subtitles, but keep on doing what you do, thank you for the ride x
She is fluent in sign and used to translate. In college, she worked with kids with autism with speech pathology :)
Keep Your Daydream that explains it, thank you, a friend of mine, did the same sort of work !
When we travel in our RV,I like to have a bag prepared for each of our 3 daughters, from crossword puzzles, ,markers, notebook, favorite gum, healthy snack, for the twins that are teens,to new coloring book, colors, stickers, and blind bags 1-2 for each day out on the road for the 7 yr old,,and we have it where they can watch DVDs while traveling,so I will surprise them with a new movie to watch
We also use walkie talkies,,it helps SO much for when backing into our site our at the gas station or restaurant ,,
Our rule is that when we are leaving a place or backing up,everyone is to watch their sides for cars and remain quite,no music ,no nothing until we are safely in our space or on the road,,we learn this the hard way after my husband hit a water hose and it was spraying everywhere,it tore up the back of our trailer,,so now all of us have a job to help when we are backing up and parking
I believe it's important that each of us does our jobs it makes it a pleasant trip for all of us,,we tend to get along better and enjoy spending time together more when we respect each other's space but also help out when chores are needing to be done,,after all it's all of our vacation, not just one of us,,
Great tips,we really enjoy your life though vlogging,,,thanks
Good advise! Hubby & I tried to use our walkie talkies but he has this thing of saying more than needs to be said, I can't tell him to stop because he is about to hit something, if his finger is on the talk button. So we use our cell phones. That way I can tell him to "Shut Up! and Listen!" LOL
Lol. Yeah, I just listen and Trish talks. I don't talk on it unless I'm stopped.
This is all wonderful advice that we all need to remind ourselves of frequently.
We can all use "life lesson" reminders. Thank you. Love the book recommendations. Another quality video. Love the background music, and birds! Looking forward to season 3 vids. We are SO looking forward to Rv'ing next year. Ted & Lee Ann
You guys are awesome. These are great tips not just for rv'ing but for life as well!! Thanks for sharing.
What a wonderful people they are! My favorite couple and their kids are great too.
Yeah, I've heard stories like this on sailboats. We were pretty lucky with our Mexico caravan crew.
You guys are awesome! Your kids are so lucky to have such amazing parents!
AMEN this was great we all need a break from each other.
While traveling.
Excellent information and not just for RVing but for everyday life. Thanks for sharing!
Great video guys! In the heat of the moment it is easy to lose track of the important stuff. Your advice is much appreciated...
Till next week anyway, where I'm sure you will raise the bar.... again...
My favorite TH-cam RV family! thank you guys for bringing us in your journey :)
I would think that after a year on the road your chain of events when you pulled into a site would be pretty well set. Some really great ideas and such a wonderful presentation. Thanks for Sharing
It's on the list. Need to get the solar and battery vids out. The next sweet park we roll into with good lighting, we'll do that.
Great video!! A lot of people need to hear this message!!
Love this!! Funny, we had an argument tonight about a deposit on an RV that we are purchasing and this video is soooo fitting! Thanks again guys!!
Nice. Trish wrote this blog on the topic that I think is better www.keepyourdaydream.com/how-to-get-along-while-traveling/
put some more examples of when you guys aren't following these 5 tips so perfectly in your vids...I'm not convinced that you guys aren't perfect LOL!
This was great. I don't RV yet but still gain so much from your family anyway.
absolutely great video. I am 68 yrs old and wish I had someone explain all this to me years ago...
Welcome to British Columbia Marc and Tricia, hope you enjoy!!!! Great advice, and another great video!
when we were camping in motor home and pulling in the spot. the kids, learned to take off, because it was a stress full time for me.
Sounds like ideas straight out of "we're the Millers"! Keep having fun!
That movie was hilarious. I should have included clips.
Always great resources from you guys. Your channel has helped us so much.
If it's possible can you make a video on the overall truck/trailer/hitch setup and how you navigate through the steep grades of the mountains?
Sure, I'll add that to the list!
my kids are grown. but i go with the 5 P's. Perfect planning prevents poor performance. USMC
Welcome to Supernatural British Columbia!! You must travel up the Sunshine Coast. Best part of the province. Of course, I'm kind of biased.
👍Loved these tips for if/we I get out there on the road (these are also great for car/any vehicle road trips). Love the suggestion about the 5 Love Languages - I read it many years ago & try to incorporate in all aspects of every day life. 💞
Hey Guy's,
Having walkie talkies to use while backing up your RIG works so much barter than screaming directions to one another.
Hugs,
Sandy abd Jay Livesay
You guys are awesome...great parents!
Great at parenting!
this should be reposted on a regular basis. Thanks for the great reminders !!!!
We should probably re-do it. Trish wrote a blog that is much better. Check it out. www.keepyourdaydream.com/how-to-get-along-while-traveling/
Your kids are awesome. I am a grandma. There is no way, Tricia, that you will look like a grandma when that time comes with your daughter.
