Fun little board. What you could do is put an optocoupler in place of one or more leds. With a little external setup the sky would be the limit as to what you could do from there. Turn on your coffee machine from a basic prompt, or your tv or Apple II or whatever you wanted. Open / close electric shutters you name it. It would take a little extra work though. Fun little device, thanks for taking the time to show it :)
Thanks for your video, I have a RC2014 and I haven't done much with it since I built it, but I do have plans, 1. build some form of native HTML or VGA output, 2. get a floppy disk up and running, if you have any info on either of these idea I would love to know. I'm guessing that little box in the background with the blinking red LED is a serial interface.
