    Carbon bow twists at the shot...everything is offset to each other but causes twists..the helix is spot on at the shot...hope hand shock is finally reduced...love the rotating mods (you listening mathews?) grip is forward thinking...roller guard and hybrid cam not so much. Tuning issues/peep roations....keep pushing tech boys....stuff looks good!

    Only way I will be able to touch a Hoyt now is in the classifieds. Prices do not equal what you are getting.

    I really like that Helix. Gonna be a tough decision on a new bow. PSE and Mathews both have some awesome new bows at the same price point.

    Saw the RX3 yesterday in a local shop and all the guys were talking about how the vibration dampers were on the bottom front of the riser.

    The RX-3 it remembers me about the Carbon Element and RX-1. We got an unparalleled hybrid bow. Hope the price will also be unparalleled. Something around seventeen hundred hard earned dollars.

    Maybe, some sound deadening material on the walls of the shooting lanes will allow for an audio recording of the shot.

    I wish I could afford a new Hoyt but there's no chance of that so I'll just make do with my ASD black pro witch cost me only £160 + all the extras I've put on it and I'd put it against any high end bow for accuracy and being dead in the hand, any day.

      Just wait a year or 2 for the ones that need the latest and greatest to sell their "old" bow that's a year old for half the price, I just picked up a loaded powermax for $450

    If the rx3 riser was designed to crush noise and vibration then Hoyt failed at that. The aluminum riser of the helix has way less handshock than the rdwx

    Tried a Helix the other day. Wasn't that impressed so I went with a 2018 Evolve 31. about half the price because it was a 2018 and felt a hell of a lot better.

    What ever happened to making consumer bows for a decent price? 2 thousand dollars for a bow is utterly pathetic from this company espescially when they decided to cheap out and stop making them in America. Completely pathetic

    • @elixiriszog
      @elixiriszog 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      They DO make consumer bows for a decent price. What ever happened to people not crying about what the top of the line products cost instead of purchasing the tier they can afford? Go buy a Powermax or a Nitrux. The only $2000 bows in this video are the Pro Force FX models, and those are NOT consumer bows. They're in the same class as the Pro Force and Prevail, which are top level competition target bows.

    Since the riser is made out of Carbon, will it in the future brake or shatter from constant use as against an aluminum riser?

    Always wanted a Hoyt... but have never liked the hand shock or the valley on the turbo

    • @elixiriszog
      @elixiriszog 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      The turbos have always been their worst bows, this is true. Try out the non turbo versions. Basically ALL bows at 350+ ibo want to rip your arm off if you relax. To my knowledge, nobody has actually fixed this. The last couple bowtechs capable of those speeds (supposedly) are a bit better than some past offerings, but... almost everybody I know is shooting them in the 340 "comfort" setting anyway. 8-10 fps off the top end means nothing, really.

  • @Convair_F-106

    Amazingly new? It's just the same stuff they have been pumping out for the last 5 years now, just with a different look and some new buzzwords thrown in. I'm so tired of the archery industry hyping the revamped stuff they churn out every year like they just inveted parallel limb design.

    Just bought the RX3 and put the Garmin Xero sight on it. I have the Carbon Element as well - RX3 is 9 FPS faster (289 FPS at 70lbs and 27.5" draw) and 1.2 lbs HEAVIER. Probably gonna stick with the Element - anybody want to offer me fair price for the RX3 with the Xero let me know!!! ($3100 into it) 1 week old!

    The helix😂🤣 ok Hoyt maybe coping HALON? You will never catch them..........

    • @elixiriszog
      @elixiriszog 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hoyt frequently recycles their recurve / compound bow names back and forth for various years. The Helix recurve came out more than 12 years ago, so.. no. Probably not copying the Halon. One of their recent recurves was called the Faktor, a compound model from about 4 years ago. Gotta love ridiculously long-reaching false equivalencies, though! At least Hoyt hasn't tried to convince people that round wheels instead of real cams are some how a new thing...

      Yep, you also can see the bottom dampener just like Mathews did.
      I will never trade my triax or my zxt for any hoyt out there.
      Mathews is uncatchable. Haha

    2 grand?!?! Um, no thanks.

    • @elixiriszog
      @elixiriszog 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      A.) Retailers don't charge that. B.) Target bows are expensive. But if you were the actual target market (ha ha, see what I did there?) you'd already know this. They're usually about $1799 retail. Have been for a damn long time. Check out the Mathews TRX-7, PSE Perform-X, Bowtech Fanatic. You'll see a few hundred dollars difference in some of these (the Fanatic in particular, largely because it doesn't have a shoot-through riser and isn't a Mathews), but.. that's just how much this class of bow costs.

    • @albertledesma5173
      @albertledesma5173 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      elixiriszog Well, I know absolutely nothing about bows, however, by the comments in this comment section, I come to realize I’m not the only one that thinks these Hoyts are ridiculously overpriced.
