I must say I am impressed with it but was disappointed that Quest do not put a decent manual in with it or have something available for download. I had fathomed most of the settings out but did not realise that it had a notch facility on it, not that I would use it, but very good and informative video, you make some great video's, thank you and keep up the good work.....
Thank you E.H. for your excellent informative video you've put Quest to shame they seem to think we are all seasoned Detectorists ,they really need to prepare some decent instructions and a helpful video guide, for this beginners machine, i would have really struggled without this Gem of a video...Superb....
dude this helps so much,,, iv been using this x10pro for around 6months absolutely loving it ! any more vids coming with some x10 info would be radical 100% love all your vids stick in best of luck digging
When I used that machine at cotheridge,after a bit of a fiddle around,I put jewellery and coin mode both at 2 and started to find round things,ie 2 small buttons and a old penny.only gripe is it’s too light to knock stubble and thick grass out the way.

You are the only one who says something about the most important function of this detector - threshold. My question is; Does the threshold work simultaneously with the dynamic mode? are they mixed? Is it static or pseudo-static mode? THX M8
Top little machine my mate has one he has had problems with the coil on it and quest have realised they have problems with the coils he has had the coil swapped for free no questions asked ..tested it on hammys and a saxon sceat picks them.up no bother ...can't wait for a video of the simplex will my makro racer 2 headphones and coils work with it and can you manually fine tune the ground faze and ground balance? ??
would you say the quest x10 is good iam thinking of having a change from GM 1+ uk , got 5 coils extra with it aswell , nice vid , aswell is that Sid ??
Sam Robinson it may not be the coils it may be that the user is running the sensitivity too high and its falsing.... the x5 and x10 are very sensitive and deep machines for the money... even when set just 50% the performance is good for the money... maybe just a case of settings... i dont know
Waspius Maximus there great for the money... just have to lower sensitivity so stable.. yeah there not gonna be mega machines but for around £160 there ok I thought

So depth , when it is at 7 it is deep and when at 2 it is not ?

Johnny B x10 is good for a complete novice or kid... not got the performance of gm 1
Is there much of a difference between the x5 and x10 performance wise? And do you have a link as to where you purchased yours from? Cheers
not much difference in overall performance... the x 10 has more settings... main uk dealer is spinadiscmetaldetectors.com/

No it doesn't. It's very basic and not helpful
I bought one . Its was an awfull machine. It falsed most of the time . Then went in to meltdown and never recovered. I do not recomend it. 🐝
