Overtake were on a mission to cut weight, this meant one thing only; Carbon fiber everything! With every panel on the GT-R's body being replaced with lightweight carbon fiber items Overtake have managed to strip roughly 140kg away from the GT-R's standard 1740kg kerb weight.
The only thing more menacing then the look of a full carbon bodied car rolling down the street is the increased handling, turn in, braking and overall performance it has acquired since going under knife. A real sense of speed is returned to the GT-R having taken away all that dead weight.

Great video, unbelievable work on that car. Although the little facts hang too close to the car. I'm not sure what it is that irks me about them. Very different approach that I'm sure everybody appreciates. Keep up the amazing work!

It's amazingly good looking. I'd have to say Overtake is the best of the bunch. Before Top Secret and Phoenix kit both looks good.. But this one takes the cake for sure. But it's definately not for the faint of heart for cost of this Dry-carbon kit. I wish they would have an FRP version out in the future. Go check out their site, if you wants to have a brand new look on your 09-11 MY GTR

This thing looks amazing, but why does at 0:45 it says 0 kg progressive weight reduction as it points to all the carbon fiber parts? An error or am I missing something?
progressive weight is weight that is on the other end of the suspension to the car, ie the wheels, brakes, lower control arms etc

Am i the only one who noticed that this is a 2015 gtr but the video was posted a year ago in 2014. I can tell because of the new headlights and taillights.
+BigDvincent21 lots of us earlier gtr owners upgraded to the 2015 headlights and taillights, they are direct replacements and love the newer look.
how did you guys get the parts so fast before the car hit the showroom floor?? I guess thats what I should have asked
