super sir nice video common man's problem . every person faces it when the service wire got damaged (i.e only neutral wire cut-off or the wire connection at pole got damaged ) or the wire in neutral slot cut it is very easy step:1 see the service wire condition then step:2 also see the meter board connection at this situation i use clamp meter (tong tester) for checking neutral continuity by turning off the power supply

Without connecting earth or Neutral or other phase or phase shifting device, simply connecting same phase at the both terminals of bulb, it is not possible to glow the bulb.. You are welcome lavanth viggina..
Tester will not work on un grounded neutral systems and un grounded dc systems.. it means it will not glow at all.. I can't understand what is your exact problem.. Anyway you just check the the voltage using multimeter between two terminals and between one terminal and ground if it is available.. then you may get to know, what to do what not to do ...

You just check the neutral points (how neutral would be distributed from main distribution board, main distribution board also one of the main check points) at your home, where it has been disconnected, and connect it properly. Your problem is solved.. While doing any electrical work, make sure that electrical power must and should be isolated . That is after switching off the electrical power supply, you start any electrical work. Make safety first, then start doing work.
The Main might be the faulty.. Why because, when you switch off the main, both phase and neutral must be cut off. But in this case, as the main might be the faulty, it may cut off only neutral at mains, but the phase comes to the switch boards even though the main off. So you are getting both sides phase at your socket. Now you switch off the main and remove the fuse after the mains and check for the supply at your socket on the switch boards. You may not see the supply. Even after removing the fuse, if you face the same problem, just let me know .. we will discuss over telephone too...
What are you doing, where you faced the problem.. you may not found video suggestion for it. If it is due to faulty mains, faulty mains may not available readily. You just post your number here..

How can you tell you that is neutral side, that might be the phase side. You just check again if tester glows on both sides of socket, just let me know. You may also check for this, the phase must be connected to switch, but some local electricians giving neutral to switch and phase to equipment directly which is wrong and very much danger too. చిన్న చిన్న load కి common గా ఇవ్వడం ok అని మీ వివరణ వల్ల నాకు అర్థం అయ్యింది....కానీ ఏసీ, fridje, geaser, ఐరన్ బాక్స్, పెద్ద load గల ఎక్కువ ampers కల వాటికి కూడా అలా ఇవ్వవచ్చా అన్నది మాత్రమే నా డౌట్ సర్..
