    I understood earthing wire is generated out side our house using a G.I. pipe, copper plate, coal, salt and sand, with your class.
    I understand that phase wire comes from electricity generators.
    Phase and neutral wires are taken into our houses from electric poles.
    Pl explain how neutral wire is generated?

    • @bclasses
      @bclasses  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for asking
      Generally neutral wire taken from star connected transformer 2ndry winding or we can take it from alternator windings, which are placed and separated by 120 degrees.( alternator have 3 windings which are separated by 120 degrees )

    Ground?

  • @-q-b0_1
    @-q-b0_1 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    One doubt please clarify....
    1) When you say current needs low resistance ONLY, hence any power leakage in devices, earth pole will suck the leakage power thru grounding cable.
    2) When you say humans have high resistance in body , In case what ever power leakage comes from the device should not flow thru human 🤔
    How?

    • @bclasses
      @bclasses  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for asking. ...
      Generally we maintain earth wire resistance as low as possible, zero ohms preferable, but generally we maintain earth wire resistance nearly 0 to 2 ohms, which is a low value in circuit. Human having nearly 1000 ohms resistance. When short circuit happen in device it tries to flow through low resistance path I.e through earth wire only, even human touch the short circuit device he may not get shock because his resistance is higher than earth wire resistance. To get more clarity please watch which is most dangerous current or voltage which is available in this channel. I hope you understand

      @@bclasses thanks for the answer. Now I understood that humans current ohms thing!
      However this must be a silly question🙂
      When there is failure in earthing in 240v metal motor/devices were phase and netural is live. 🔌
      In this case, now, we don't have earthing connection to that motor/devices etc (only phase and netural live)
      Let's say suppose any power leakage from the motor/device - if this 1000 ohms resistance human touchs - motor/devices Will he/she 😀gets shocked or not?? Because he is not wearing any plastic footwear in that situation.( most of the time at home we don't wear it)...🚶‍♂
      My doubt is now, current flows only thru low resistance 0-5 ohms.
      In this case will 1000 ohms human should gets any shock or not in theory .....

    If there is no current flow or no voltage in the neutral then why to connect that wire ?

    • @bclasses
      @bclasses  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Good question. .
      Electric power generated as 3phase and transmitted as 3phase, in distribution we have different types of loads domestic, commercial and industrial. Single phase supply more than enough for domestic loads, other two loads need 3phase supply. Finally 3phase can be used as 3phase or single phase with neutral wire, this neutral wire used to complete the circuit. There is no current in neutral wire thus neutral can't give electric shock but to close circuit neutral is compulsory in single phase supply. Hope you understand.

    • @bclasses
      @bclasses  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      sand and salt are like conducting material, by placing GI pipe in between these material conductivity of pipe increases, that means resistance of GI pipe decreased. Ultimately we need very low resistance path, it can be done by using these materials.

      Thanks for asking. ..
      Basically the whole idea revolves around reducing resistivity of a earth pit/increasing the conductivity of Earth pit for that we use Coal, salt and sand; each one having specific use; coal is made of carbon which is good conductor minimizing the earth resistant.Salt use as electrolyte to form conductivity between GI Plate Coal and Earth with humidity.Sand has used to form porosity to cycle water & humidity around the mixture i.e sand helps to keep moisture around this arrangement which helps to decrease the resistivity of a earth pit. Hope you understand. .

      For three phase no need of neutral because vectorical sum of three responses becomes zero.
