    Bathometric map 😳😳 too tech for me, I’m still trying to get knots on my rigs not to let me down 🤣🤣
    Probably good for some people but I’m more for the fishing not catching. Sitting on an esky for a couple of hours wetting a line with a mate catching nothing but conversations.

    Great review Robby. Question… it seems that you can add some (way) points to the map when pressing the ‘+’ button on the screen. Could be handy to steer your baitboat to those points afterwards. Have you tried that maybe?

    • @robbiefishing
      @robbiefishing  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks Frits. I haven't actually. To be honest, I don't use the map a lot. I tend to use mine more to sound out the depths and the structures and tend to remember where they are. I think that if I used it from a boat, particularly in lakes more often I would probably explore those features further.

    Hey Robbie. I know how much you like to catch "mud marlin" and a bit of a challenge. How about an experiment to see how effective berley is for Carp. You can fish the same rig in the location but pre berley where one rod fishes and take pot luck with the other. A mixture of stale bread (wetted so it sinks) and corn kernels is suitable berley to use. Be interesting to see how it pans out.

      @@robbiefishing worked fine the first time, but started to drop the wifi towards the end didn’t really worry about it. Went to use it a week later and wouldn’t connect. Thought the battery was flat, so charged it up, still wouldn’t connect. Got home placed it on the kitchen table looking up the manual online and noticed a puddle of water under it. The lower housing has a crack in it coming from the thread insert which has filled the lower section with water. Definitely haven’t drop it or hit anything in the water. Hope they don’t stuff me around and blame me for this. Anyway a friend has one as well and it’s a great addition to the bank fishing bag for those exploration trips for new spots. Love your channel by the way. Totally relate to the fishing you do. I’m based in Seymour and fish a lot of the areas you fish.
