You can recognise Brian Harvey’s cool, soulful vibrato and his rich harmonisation immediately. In a world full of samples and stupid computer generated sounds this is a breath of fresh air. Brilliant!!!

If this was re-realised and slightly updated production wise it would probably do very well in the downloadable charts.
Talented, charismatic, strange, unique, discovered his talent by chance, outrageous, came out of the people and the ghetto, a star, the best rhythm and blues and soul voice of England, with a unique gift, destroyed by newspapers and his rash behavior and statements. But this is Brian Harvey, he couldn't be any different. Underestimated, due to the mutation of modern music and the end of the boyz bands era and the decline of the golden era of hip hop and soul/rhythm and blues. Brian Harvey and East 17 will always remain in our hearts. But unfortunately, and it's obvious that his voice could not compete at that moment with Boyz2Men, Jodeci, and the American soul/rhythm and blues/gospel market, and even with Backstreet boyz and Nsync, there were more powerful voices and bigger budgets in this market. Not fate. But we still love you Brian Harvey and we'll remember you so amazing, you're a legend. There is no you, there is no East Seventeen. Peace.

Because he's made enemies with Rupert Murdoch, after his employees hacked Brians phone, set him up in a coke sting, ruined his marriage and made him out to be crazy. He's been harassed ever since by the powers that be. It's all on TH-cam, been going on for years, til present day
