Regarding your question about Ryobi, I don't know that the following is true, but I am pretty sure that it is. The different languages on the packaging have nothing to do with where it is made, they have to do with where it is marketed. So for this product, they apparently market it in English, French, and Spanish speaking countries. Ryobi itself is a Japanese company (look them up on Wikipedia), so the products are probably made in Japan, though at this price I would suspect they may be made in China, but I don't know that.
