A little over a year ago, I asked God for help. I was over 400 pounds. I had a heart attack back in 2020. In one year since I asked for help i lost over 220 pounds. I'm almost down to a normal weight. I whole heartedly believe he answered me, and i thank him everyday. God gave me the mental strength to make it happen.

I for one agree with Dewaynes talk about alcohol and smoking, I don’t smoke and I only have an occasional drink after dinner or when sitting with friends, it’s not a sin according to Gods word, getting drunk is a sin, so many people twist Gods words which causes confusion and division, thank God for Dewayne to clarify that:)

You are correct, even a child should understand that the book was written by man to control man and justify the injustice that men do to others. I guess what I am trying to say is that it is clear that man created the concept of God to suit his needs. The Bible on the other hand is a powerful extraordinary piece of literature. Just one man's opinion. Stay well.

@@CatfishLove if it was created by man, why does it go against all the desires of man? Why does it condemn the evil doings of man? The chronology & the truths held within the Bible are beyond the comprehension of man, only God Himself could've given such revelation to mankind. True wisdom comes down from above, it cannot be found in the realm of mankind.
"But where shall wisdom be found? and where is the place of understanding?
Man knoweth not the price thereof; neither is it found in the land of the living."
      Job 28:12-13

I am a Christian, but I still struggle with the sin of drinking alcohol more than I should. I strive to completely stop alcohol, not only for the Lord, myself and health, but so that new Christian’s, the self righteous, or those on the fence can’t use me as an example that “see, he is a Christian and still drinks, so I’m doing fine.” I don’t want to be a stumbling block for others.

    • @BrotherChris77
      @BrotherChris77 17 วันที่ผ่านมา

I have struggled with Alcoholism for years. I finally said no more after my last binge for a week up to May 25th , 2024. So just recently. It was such a bad binge that I destroyed my relationships with my sister and her husband, my brother and his wife, my job and everyone I worked with and other friends after I started texting and called all of them. I cussed them up and down. I was blacked out most of the time. I now look at Alcohol as POISON. Period end of story. At least for me. Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. I am now approaching my 30 day sobriety. I joined AA. I have meant to many times. I had to finally lay it at Jesus' feet and let him take complete control of my life. Praise Jesus! I have absolutely no desire for Alcohol now. I feel delivered from it. Jesus can do that for you 2. I got so bad about 2 years ago that I was having DT"s. I would be sweating, shaking and throwing up until I got at lest 1 and half Hurricanes before I felt better. Everyday for about a month. I was at the gas station at 7am or a few minutes before to get at least 3 of the 25oz cans. That was just to start. Then by 2pm go and get 3 or 4 more. Then by 8 pm get another 3 or 4 to get through the night. Then I quit cold turkey. Next day I had 2 seizures and ended up in the hospital. I quit for a year and a half sober. But no AA. Then I just went on this week long binge after starting to drink regular beer for about 2 weeks. I went to the liquor store and got Jack Daniel's. It started with me telling myself " Oh, a little sipping whiskey wouldn't hurt..yeah right! Ended up drinking the whole 5th that night. Next night I bought the 1.75 and bought 2 more of those. Ended up having my sister charged for trespassing. Really I should have been in the drunk tank. It was the most devastating thing I have ever done in my entire life. After I sobered up and laying in my bed for 2 days. The Lord revealed some very deep things with me. Things I didn't realize. I gave my heart back to Jesus. I'm on fire now! Praise Jesus. I can't get enough! Like being born again..but again! Ya know? So just lay it at His feet. I love the fellowship I have at AA. I don't know why I kept avoiding it for years. Anyways brother, may Our LORD Jesus Christ bless you and keep you and show you His way for He is a lamp unto our feet so that we do not go the right or the left. Put your entire trust into Jesus. His yoke is easy and His burden is light. Your soul will find rest.

I just came across this second channel today and I am DANG excited! 26 years old with 2 kids and another on the way. My wife and I were raised in church, started walking our own path around the time we got married, and when our first child was about a year old, God rocked my life to the core. Everything I thought was stable started showing cracks. It was only on the other side of our return to faith, and more importantly, the first time we had EVER taken our faith seriously, that I realized how close I was to driving my marriage and my young family right off a cliff. We have been faithfully attending church since 2021 and have been faithfully following Christ since about 2 months after then. I'm so stricken by how wicked the world is. I see it now when I look back at things I entertained myself with and things that people around me choose to be entertained by. It blesses me to see that a man I've enjoyed receiving wisdom from for the last couple of years has some even weightier matters to chew on! I'm here for the long haul on this one!

18Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works. 19Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble. 20But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead? 21Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar? 22Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect? 23And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God. 24Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only. 25Likewise also was not Rahab the harlot justified by works, when she had received the messengers, and had sent them out another way? 26For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.

I'm a Catholic that came back to my faith last year after a hiatus of a great many years (something Mr. Noel played a role in remedying). I have my difference of opinions with many Protestants just as I do with many Catholics. What I pray for is that we can come together to combat those that seek to undermine, control and/or destroy the teachings of Jesus Christ, often being the Marxists/postmodernists-particularly those wolves in sheep's clothing aiming to 'modernise' Christianity under the guise of 'compassion,' adorning their vestments, churches and marketing materials with progressive Pride flags and twisting scripture to their own ends. Christians have a far greater enemy than each other, and our bickering only serves to help those who would see us be destroyed. So God bless you, Mr. Noel, and thank you for your inspiration, wisdom, and sincerity. I hope we can focus on what we have in common, rather than elevating our differences 🙏🏼❤️‍🔥✝️💪🏽

There’s a silent majority that are looking for something like this in the weeds of all this modern day nonsense. Looking forward to this journey however it turns out. Regardless, still diligently following your main channel. Your comment on ppl who are self proclaimed knowing and “right” reminded me of what my dads once told me. I'm convinced God called you to do this to help the layman like myself. Been watching you since your first horse videos on Dry Creek and a couple of weeks ago, I finally came to Jesus after years of trying to disobey Him by pursuing my own selfish desires and having grown up in a secular family and having been emotionally/psychologically abused by my first high school (All-Boys Franciscan Catholic), it turned me away from our Lord and made me believe that I was all alone. Even after trying to find a denomination that aligns with the Christ of the Bible, I can't bring myself to become Catholic or some sort of Protestant despite my forgiveness to those who wronged me. I believe the Holy Spirit made you available to me and others who want to follow Christ, not secular "Christianity". Thank you Dewayne, I'll keep praying for you, your family and the success of your channels.

    I’m hopeful, brother.
I was one of those you talked about - part of a church and theology that I had been indoctrinated into. I was studied, arrogant, and - I see now, not walking with Christ. The church I was serving at had a leadership crisis; those I had looked up to were revealed to be hypocrites, our pastor ended up taking his own life after his affair was revealed. My wife and I left that church in the same state as its leadership; broken and devastated.
It’s been a long road back to Christ and longer still to the church. I know what I need is the simplicity of truth. I know what I need is to walk with Jesus. I know I need to know him because the man I thought I knew all that time was just a lie. From what I can see of you, I see a simple man, and a humble man with a desire for truth and I’m looking forward to walking alongside you for a while.
Thank you for doing this man.

I appreciate your restraint when commenting on my Church. Most Protestants I know (some I'm related to) can get quite nasty, and I get enough of that nastiness from my own pope I don't need it from my fellow countrymen. I probably won't be joining this channel, but I think it's important for Christians to live their faith in the public eye, even when I can't agree with them. More than ever before the world needs the witness of good Christian men. Take care.

I'm a Roman Catholic, and I respect your views, I am as you say "a simple man" and certainly not a scholar of the bible or church history.
I'm a part of the catholic religion because it has centuries of tradition and a history of saintly followers of Christ to learn from. Thomas Aquinas is one of the major ones to write why we should be followers of Jesus, and how to be!
It is a shame the body of Christ on Earth is so divided! we should be one... but since the time of the reformation, or earlier the east/west schism, I'm not sure how that can happen.
All I know is I need to keep reading, learning every man's perspective, and make my own mind up to follow Jesus teaching and the wisdom of the prophets, and the subsequent teaching of the books of the bible (as we know it now) after His ascension.

I believe in Jesus and He Jesus gave me the Holy Spirit who helps me understand His Word the Bible. I agree that we "believers" need to keep it simple. I'm a simple man who is a sinner but I know the Lord saved me from sin. Jesus did all the work I just have to believe in Him. I love God with all my heart and I still struggle to love on others but I'm working on it everyday..not easy.
But I know my life is better by trying to live my life for the Lord even though I mess up at times Jesus still forgives us. Thank you Jesus!

As a young kid, i went to a Baptist Sunday school, there's only 1 thing my Sunday school taught & it was abt Satan. I slept during the sermon. As a young adult my 1st husband & i went to a different Baptist church that his parent's went to. Wasn't comfortable being there, the congregation was far too judgy for me. I decided as i was getting closer to 30, i just wanted to sit outside & talk to God directly. Went to Cowboy church a couple time's, felt more at ease, but 2nd hubby had issue's with us attending church, so i just go outside to talk to Him most of the time.

    Hi Dewayne,
It's great that you are doing this channel. You may have a lot of negativity coming up and people saying really bad things. But I know that you know that Jesus was rejected and if He was so will you (John 15:19-21). That's the part that comes with sharing the Word of God and be in Him (1 Peter 4:12-13). But you can rest confident that you will be blessed and your treasure be set in heaven (Mat 5:11-12). And more importantly for others, the ones looking for God and searching for answers, and for the Church, I think that this channel will be a blessing. This world needs so much to be back to true values with wise traditional Christian men leading the way. Just continue to do your own things with God at the center. And with you and others leading the way it will be a good thing.
So may God continue to strengthen you and give you peace, maybe He continue to give you wisdom and understanding. And may He continue to bless you and your family!
