    I am 11 days into suboxone withdrawal, since about day 4 I have been just lifting dumbbells and running in place because it's cold as hell outside. But to anyone watching this video going through it, please listen to this man!!

      wingbean123 I've been cole turkey of subs and I could only make it 2 weeks and I relapsed. I'm just wondering should i start getting healthy and exercise before I quite this horrible drug?

      @RustinChole 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      How the hell are you running? I run/lift like a maniac but when I’m weak like this my form is the first thing that goes, so I stay away from running. Gonna try stationary bike after I can get some fluids down.
      Accidentally swallowed my subutex (just 2mgs) and I just have to tough out the next 24 hours. Luckily I’m on such a low dose it’s not TOO bad. Just weakness. Clammy. Watery eyes. Zero appetite. And rambling obviously

      Meagan Renee I’m currently micro reducing my bue, getting in shape first helped me ALOT. Long time addict. I swear it helped me. I did it at first out of desperation to sleep. Diet and exercise. Get healthy, then start reducing, but take it slow cause that drug is very difficult to get off, and not many doctors understand the consequences of stopping cold turkey, especially for a long term user. Hoping to be off the bue completely in a year. Went from 8mgs a day to 2mgs a day. Gonna slowly reduce that over the next year.
      After that, have to do the same with clonazepam.
      Trying to quit both those drugs at the same time is the worst withdrawals ever.

    I can't wait just to start recognizing myself again. I'm 7 years into a heavy opioid addiction. I'm watching my life fall apart around me I'm not as good as a father or husband and I can barely keep up with the bills. For me I know that it is now or never.

I have done this a couple times but I have never been so serious as I am now about quitting...my attitude was always terrible and I thought life was so dull and boring without opiates...well I am determined to permanently stop this devil drug. It has caused to much damage to my life .. I'm 25 but I feel 80... I am going to start running and working out ... Push myself and give it my all.. I hope my boredom will go away in time

      Do it. You’re still young too. I managed to transfer my addiction to the gym, but not till I was 38. Just free weights and running, but a lot of it. Get some music you LOVE together, force some blood to your brain, it helps. Run. Watch your diet, that’s 75% of it. Lift. Jump ropes are cheap. Whatever it is, challenge yourself. A watered down vanilla protein shake is the perfect thing for withdrawal tummy. Get a pedialyte or Gatorade as well and that post workout shower will feel great.

    I started the gym three months before making a jump off of 16-24mgs of suboxone....decided to start tapering after the 4th day Bc the withdrawals were tooooo intense, I am down to .25ish every other day now just two weeks later from my initial jump off, making the final jump starting tomorrow. & I know, I know, I should have tapered longer, but I can't live one more second of my life on this nightmare called suboxone. Idc how terrible I feel, even with starting a new job this coming Monday, which kinda has me in panic mode....but regardless of all of that, I've gotta get it done. Period. Your prayers are welcome. Thanks for the videos man. I have spent the last 6 years of my life on and off suboxone and oxy, and it's worn me down so badly, and I refuse to let this shit put me in an early grave. Pain is temporary, life is short, time flies, and death comes to quickly for me to sit here & live another day of my life under this spell, or curse, of this awful substance.

    • @MeaganRenee21

      The Swamp Fox just curios how your w/d of subs went. I'm currently facing wanting to get off of them. I take 16mg a day and I've been on it for a couple years seeing diff docs. Well the doc I'm seeing now will not taper me down. He believes I should be on it for the rest of my life. Well I'm tired of going through life numb. I really would like some advice on quitting subs because I know they are the hardest to get off of.

    • @PresidentRory
      @PresidentRory 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Meagan Hebert There is a forum I ran across after I made the jump, that detailed how others tapered down on their own. Just Google Suboxone taper, if I remember right it was on drugs.com. Hope you're doing better and make your way off the subs.

    been through withdrawal many times, and know exactly what you are talking about with that natural high. One of many things that bothered me the most was the hot flashes, but after experiencing it soo many times I found to embrace that heat. When I felt the hot flashes coming on I would do some push ups or some pull ups and embrace the heat. It seemed it burned the sickness out of me. Not to mention the pain in my back went away, and it also stirred up the natural high feeling.

    First two days I stayed inside puking and eating. The third and fourth days I was out with friends and feeling a tad bit okay, fifth day I relapsed. Trying again soon. I think the key is keeping busy and occupied to keep your mind off the drugs because I stayed in on the fifth day cause I had headaches and didn't feel like going out and I got bored.

    • @RustinChole
      @RustinChole 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Just know, it’s gonna take four weeks. Before you’re feeling like you’re beginning to bounce back. People grossly underestimate the strength and length of the withdrawal period. Good luck.-also, unfortunately those four weeks will be plagued on and off with those headaches. FYI. You haven’t felt the full power of the withdrawals till the seven day mark in my experience.

    Here's my problem tho; my legs turn to jelly for about a week and I can barely walk 3 feet without having to hold myself up on the wall. And if no exercise makes things worse, but I don't have the physical ability to stand up long enough to do any kind of workout, then what am I supposed to do??
    I'm currently on day 3 or 4, I haven't slept for 2 days bc of the opioid induced rls so I'm not entirely sure which day I'm on. I also suffer from chronic pain and had back surgery a few months ago and think I need another one, add this seemingly never-ending torture and torment, and I feel like I've been hit by a car, kicked by a horse, and played football with no padding (all of which I've been thru, so I can use them as accurate examples, just not at the same time), and find it very difficult to get up to pee, let alone exercise. And I know I'm gonna feel better in a cpl days, I'm just not sure how to workout that won't turn me into a bed-ridden, pain-writhing, dying snake looking, dying moose sounding, psychopath lol, during or after the withdrawals bc of my amount of pain.
