- This S2000 has been to us before, 3 Years ago.
It's back after some major Changes !
The customer wants his new HKS exhaust built to come out the bumper holes. This is a Show car so he's not concerned with the small diameter of the Exhaust.
Here's the Car 3 year ago

I hope everything will be 100% healthwise with Esther.
The cold start on the S2000 sounds amazing. Good job on the exhaust.
He spent all that money for that body kit but not on a good exhaust system for that turbo. Anyway you guys made it look good I guess that's all that matters to him.
Some might not like that kit. But I love it! That thing is crazy wild!
Fabulous video from beginning to end. Project car sounds and looks great. Esther has a good size loaner rental and had a fun ride to get it. Enough car toys came in to make a video. That will be a blast for you guys to make. Always too busy, not enough hours in a day. As always, superb, quality fabrication and maintenance. Everything well thought out and S2000 knowledge and experience second to none.
Glad to see Esther is ok overall! Get checked out to be 💯
Thanks Bud, she’s going get checked as she’s a little sore
Hey John.👋 That widebody S2000 is wild. The style kinda puts me in mind of the German Touring Car Championship cars from back in the day. Thanks for the update on Esther... so glad she's ok and taking precautions to get a check-up just to be sure. All the best, lady! The Hyundai she's driving sounds amazing, btw.😅 Also, best of luck to you getting your old ZR-1 back. I love that car and hope to see it back on the channel some day.🤞
I like the car alot, great build, I got a small chuckle from him saying he almost changed his mind about the turbo, cause I mean look at it now.. Wow.
That exhaust sounds great from the few clips. HKS mufflers look fantastic !
Best wishes for Esther. Can’t wait to see what you do with your S. I think it needs a Car Play unit!!
First. Great work on this car. Nice to see the transgression and always love seeing your work. Also, this is the 6th good video in 2 weeks. Your viewers feed off these. Great job.
I’m so sorry to hear about your Rogue Esther! I hope you can get it replaced with a similar model, if not identical! Wishing you a speedy recovery and hoping you’re not too worse for wear when it’s all said and done!🙏🏼
Thanks, she really loves that car. She gets really attached to cars and gets a connection with them. I love them, but a new shiny one comes along and I’m smitten. Lol.
@@LHTPerformance I completely get both sides of that! 🤣
Love the work you did for the guy, but that body kit is hideous. As long as he likes it, more power to him.
The wide body reminds me the old Rallye Group B times. I love Group B Rallye cars with the wide body. Personally I will remain meanwhile with the S2000 OEM look.
Wish Esther a good recovery. Hope the scan will be negative.
Greetings from Europe.
This s2000 is like the highest star rating you can get in Need For Speed Underground. You don’t see many wide body vehicles anymore! It’s like this and the Veilside FD!
That’s because the late 90’s- early 00’s are gone bud…
@@JacesOwnWorld only until this baby hits 88mph.
@@JacesOwnWorld Pretty much everyone who tracks their car is definitely still using wide body kits. You can't fit very wide wheels on an S2000 without one. In fact, the kit on this car is the exact same J's Racing kit that Science of Speed used on their track car S2000s.
Never been a fan of these heavily modified S2000 bodies. Kinda sad actually. It reminds me of someone who has gone over the top with plastic surgery.
Reminds me of the Audi ur quattro rally car body kit...
I especially like the table thats mounted on the trunk lid LMAO
S2000 and 350Z nice looking cars, all they are need some good suspension and wheels.
@@buffalobill2965 You must not be very familiar with track s2000s. Pretty much all of them have wings. Although, they are more effective when chassis mounted.
Alright I’ll say it, to each their own but that body kit looks ridiculous. And not in a good way 😂
That guy looks twice my age and I'm sitting here scratching my head. I can't convince myself to like it
@@jordanwaters2528 The owner is clearly the asian guy in the beginning of the video. The older man at the end of the video is the previous owner of the car. Also, everyone into S2000s should know what this kit is. It's the J's Racing Type GT wide body that was always seen on the famous J's Racing S2000 in all of the Best Motoring touge videos. Also, the same kit that Science of Speed ran on their track cars in the US.
The don't see this kit as often as the other more conservative J's Racing kit, the Type S kit, because the Type GT kit is much more expensive and not as easily available.
I think it’s cool and it’s an expression of himself. Well done 👏
Yes, it isn’t something I would do. But I always respect someone else’s vision and style, it what makes the car culture so cool
Why are you already selling the type R?
It’s not for me
@@LHTPerformance😅😅 dang I'm very suprised tbh.. Almost seems like your gonna get the new Integra type S instead 🤔
@@FrancisD No. it’s the same engine. That’s my issue. The sound, the car is amazing.
@@LHTPerformance I think it's about time for another golden era Honda build. We are into the restoration era now.
@@LHTPerformanceoh come on. We know the real reason why. You’re selling it for more than you bought it for.
Haha that’s crazy that was the same car. Remember that episode from 3 years ago
John, Esther should get an MRI on it... Could it be a cracked clavicle?
i've been in a few accidents in my lifetime (some my fault some not) but yeah luckily never been hurt in them, the only issue ive had was uninsured drivers at which point my insurance took care of everything minus the deductible. here in california you have to file a accident report with the DMV for any accident with injury or damages over $1000. you might wanna check into FL and if they have something similar. other than that, get that bad boy fixed at a good shop and it should be better than new.
Thanks buddy. We’re looking into our options. We’re having superior fix the car that does all our work. It will be fixed with oem parts and more likely better than factory paint. Just worried about diminished value.
She definitely needs to get that looked at I was in an accident like 10 Years ago in my old GSR and didn't think Nothing of it but a week or 2 later. My chest was killing me and I had to get it scanned and they said i almost cracked Some sort of bone in my chest from the accident. So just to be on the safe side get it look at please.
Is there a reason they wanted the HKS exhaust custom fitted vs buying the J's racing exhaust designed for this exact kit?
I'm gonna take a wild guess and say he didn't know about it
Do you know where the owner had the car painted?
It’s a wrap. They did it themselves.
AMUSE S2000 GT1 I used it in Gran Turismo
It did remind me of Grand Turismo too
Nope, that's the J's Racing Type GT wide body. The Amuse wide body kit isn't as wide. You can see the Amuse kit on the Project Import time attack/Pike's Peak S2000.
drool... that S is soo clean
i personally think that car needs to get some bigger brakes just for the looks department. It would fill out that big kit.
Ester its worth it to see a chiropractor. Hope that pain goes away.
That test pipe is made by Tomei
funny the son urged the dad not to mod the car but the dad insisted...typically the other way around 😅
What happened! Did the old guy sold this car? If it’s the same owner, I’m really surprised that he went in this direction.
He sold the car.
@@LHTPerformance This is why you never sell. Just keep everything.
@@LHTPerformance WOW! turbo upgrade and then sell it. It doesn’t make sense. Something might have happened for him to sell it. Oh well. IMHO the body upgrades is a down grade. UGLY even though body kit is expensive.
@@aaguirre123 I think it sold it about 2 yeas after it was finished. I believe the current owner saw the car as a gas station and they traded numbers. The S2000 can be a little much for someone a little older on a day to day basis. Everyone has an idea of modifying a car, I’ve always said ‘ Enjoy YOUR Cars’ meaning , build it your way. That what make the car culture sure unique. Some think my style is a little conservative, but, that’s what I like.
@@LHTPerformance sure “enjoy your car” but man it’s still UGLY. S2000s are going up in value but with that body kit it sure does the opposite. “Enjoy you car”, to the current owner, as the value goes down.
Wow
I love Ester
The exhaust system looks like it is going to rob the car of power alright, it looks way to small in diameter that exhaust system.
Yes, as mentioned in the video. It about the same size as stock.
thats look is not for everyone
Nahh that exhaust location aint it...
ruined that S2K wow so ugly. And the RIDICULOUS wing lol but to each their own
How’s your s2k looks like😒
That wing isn't even that crazy. I'm guessing you've never seen a single time attack car, have you?
@@justsomerandomguyman nope. never. still ugly af
Mechanically excellent thanks to LHT. Physically it's just plain ugly, in my opinion. lol
