The bike was made by Bombardier, a Québec company, and the engine was made by Rotax from Austria. I have had a TNT175 like this as a teenager. I was the horsepower ''king'' among my friends with 100/125cc japanese dual purpose bike. Great memories!

At my hometown sandpitthe biggest gnarliest hill no one could make it to the top except the Can-Am MX 370 and that’s how it got its name Can-Am Hill I could climate no problem with my CR 500 though but the Can-Am was first to the top every sandpit should have a Can-Am hill

My friend had a 1978 250MX Canam and his cousin had the Harley 250MX 250 1978.
I had a Montesa 1974 250VR beat both of them on sand MX track here.

There are parts for these bikes on Ebay. I just took a look and saw a stator and a coil.

I had a new MX-1 when they first came out. I stupidly sold it because I wanted a 360-RM. dumbest move ever. The TNT was never as fast as the MX-1. Different gearing different powerband. MX-1 would run away from a stock TNT
