Out of all the games shown at the direct, MonTamer seems like it has the most potential, as far as what I'm personally looking for in a monster taming game.
FINALLY. My friend you have been keeping people update at such a frequency it would be worrying at time. Not even the amount of work always but just how much you would keep in touch with all the sources. I'm in no place to say what you need, but you absolutely deserve to ease up
The Legendary Beasts appear to be based on the four guardians of Feng Shui; The Black Tortoise, The Vermillion Bird, The White Tiger, and the Azure Dragon. Neat!
English is more or less the primary language for Singapore. It's just that a lot of us don't have great command over the language because of circumstances like preferring other official languages instead or because we're more used to our colloquial form of English.
Haha, I just bought it on a whim a few minutes ago because I thought the art looked dope and now I see your video. It looks like I made the right call :D
I love the pixel art, sprites, and animations and I love the devs being very clear about their goals and reasons for creation. You can really tell they really care about the game and the h I verse they created I’m excited to try this even with broken English they really want us to play and I’m sold!!
Loving your channel dude. I stumbled upon your page because I accidentally found Nexomon and wanted to watch some videos about it before diving in, outside of TemTem I am pretty unknowing of all the other monster tamer/Pokemon type games so it’s nice to have this rabbit hole opened lol
I picked this game up because of your looks into it. In-particular the Monster Taming Direct. Hoping to get round to playing it this weekend. :D Looks great and sounds great.
Hope it gets on Console. Also found a new Monster Tamer? game coming out real soon I neber heard of before you might want check out called Necro Story.
It looks really nice but, im kind of sick of fusion mechanics. Midern Pokemon has disappointed me for a while but, i prefer the simplicity of just catching and using (and evolving, where applicable) what you get. I couldnt get into Monster Crown or Dragon Quest Monsters Joker because both felt like it relies on you fusing monsters together. In DQM i fused 2 level 10s that were struggling against a boss for 1 level 1, so it felt like i then had to grind it up. Depends on how they implement i guess because i do love Cassette Beasts. That game felt like you could fuse or not fuse depending on the boss you faced. Didnt feel necessary. I absolutely love Nexomon and Coromon. Definitely among my favourite monster tamers in the last few years, as well as the aforementioned Cassette Beasts and Monster Sanctuary. Sorry, went on a bit of a rant there. I just wanted to end by thanking you very much for all of the info you have provided and shown me so many awesome games i may not have heard of otherwise.
In other news, Nintendo and The Pokémon Company filed a lawsuit against Pocketpair. It's not about copyright, but about patent infringements. How coild this affect other monster taming RPGs?
I have play this game. it feels like multiple fangames in one and i am afraid because there are a lot and mean alot of traced trainer sprites or very close to traced trainer sprites and one mon is just a pokemon with different eyes especially after the patent thing gamefreak which is insane i do like the game it feels the most pokemon as all the other games
Lost me at 3v3 - I guess im rare that I dont like 2v2 or 3v3 any of that even in pokemon- old head I guess - I enjoy the simple 1v1 w/ a roster to pick from.
Personally I don't like oh the world is not real kind of stories where you leave the actually interessting fantasy world behind but alright. Soo if it actually works fine now, is it still to expensive for the content or does it work now?
Hopefully, Nintendo won't try to sue them as well, since Nintendo is all to happy to keep being lazy with Pokemon and is scared of competition yet dumb people keep giving nintendo money for Pokemon games
Its funny yet sad when a indie dev can make a better monster training game then lazy greedy Nintendo that makes the same game every year with a new name
To be honest they're selling for $30+ dollars while in early access and also wanting to sell skins for money. Absolute hard pass. If you want to sell cosmetics make the game free.
@@Vrikrar Yeaaa and as a side note, they also are running a sale which can only be purchased as a bundle. This is done because steam does not allow refunds on bundles. So if you buy you're locked in, even if you want to refund you can't. Scummy as all fuck
Man this genre is so dead. What even are these games? Nobody has not once tried to do something new with the genre. Literally only main series pokemon game clones. Its annoying
Idk how your experience has been good it's not polished at all. Super buggy, poor pacing, lack of QoL, poor explanations for very important aspects of the game, way to expensive for its issues, etc. To each there own but god damn they need to fix this game or lower the price
@GymLeaderEd game crashing and losing save, repeat battles (beat a mon, but doesn't go away and forced battle loop unless I close), items just picked up not in inventory. There are more but I can't remember from when I tried it a week ago
@GymLeaderEd god speed lol. For reference I'm at the fusion town. Bought some stuff that didn't appear in my inv even after closing and restarting and that was the final straw 😂

I've had it for over a year now and Yana, the developer, has been making incredible progress on it. Very impressed with their work ethic
Thank you! 🙏
@Fantxtik I think you are confusing something😅
if this ever comes to Switch, I absolutely WILL snap it up in a heartbeat!
This game is right up my alley!! Really wish the devs port it to the switch or PlayStation
Unfortunately, it's not on Switch. I would absolutely buy this game!
100%. I love the Gacha stuff, especially if u get moves from it like u do in pokemon rumble by playing the game to grind for better moves.

Based on the dev replies I've seen on steam, it seems like they're Vietnamese not Singaporean
They appear very dedicated. Hopefully they'll be able to make good on their promises.

This is so HYPE. As soon as I saw it on the direct I added it to my Wishlist.
This looks really good and for only three people making this it is very impressive to have so much in it.

One of their beta tester here 🥰 i had fun playing this game, and you're right, the game has been drastically changed for the better
Definitely going to give this one a try, it looks awesome 😮
Even 2 years ago, I loved the designs of Tomomon's creatures! I am glad to see all the progress this game has made! I hope this game sells well!
This looks absolutely mint.
Wish I could play this on my phone or switch
5:20 this guy does look like the rival in Yu-Gi-Oh Vrains
Grabbed a copy today. For some reason, the bundle was cheaper than the base game, so I got it for under $20 bucks USA!
Just bought the game on switch, it is also on discount right now! So happy! :)
This is one I’m really wanting to give a shot, it looks dope!

I would play Tomomon
I'm interested. I'll look forward to your lets play. Thanks for showing this.
I just bought this game off your direct and it’s been really fun
Going to check this out once I get the chance.
I will try this. They have Azure Dragon, White Tiger and Vermillion Bird
And black turtle too
@@fabrizioart1928 I wonder if they have a Yellow Dragon also that represents Huanglong
I guess I will find out this weekend

seems like a good steam deck game. lookin forward to it.
Thanks for all the hard work you do sir and thanks for all the content.
I will probably buy this when it’s officially released. It’s a definite buy if they port it to Switch or Xbox.
that game looks promising!
3:20 You’re a third rate tamer with a fourth rate monster!
You may say Pokémon-like, but to me this looks to have more influence from the Digimon games.
In other news, Nintendo and The Pokémon Company filed a lawsuit against Pocketpair. It's not about copyright, but about patent infringements. How coild this affect other monster taming RPGs?
Cool I’ll give it a try
Why this feels like a mix of pokemon and digimon-
Insert Buzz Lightyear meme.
Hope you're having a good day
3:22 see you later alligator
Oh wow! 😮
"I'm not required to say anything specific" and then tells us three specific things he was asked to say.
did they fix all the bugs/freezing from the early build
😊

I don't remember this, when did you ever announce it
Wait this game IS actually like Yu-Gi-Oh vrains, we got the cyberse or cyber space, the antagonist look like the rival of the nain character
Cool game

Akemi 👀 👀 👀 👀 👀 👀
This looks very cool. I just hope they don't fill it with micro transactions
Can you play on mobile?
2:36 wtf Vietnamese mentioned?!?!
Yep, HaiMy Comes from our earth, and more precisely, Vietnam (Gia the dev is vietnamese)
Is this game going. to be on iOS?
how could one help fund the game?
Bruh i signed up to play this game about a year ago. I still don't have access to it 💀
Sprite art is good, but not a single monster design seemed unique and connected with me.
Is it coming to mobile?

are you playing the very old crack version? As far as I can tell, those things you mentioned were very, very long ago issues already
