Absolutely not Palworld getting investigated was evident with things like giving it the nickname of pokemon with guns and shit franchises like Nexomon has been around for years with little to no similarities with pokemon other than being monster catching and they don't use balls to catch Nexomon will be fine
@@Airkong423 If the patent is the one I've seen floating around it says "device" not ball. It then continues to where you use the same device to deploy the captured creature.
Thanks for showing gameplay footage. I hadn't payed much attention to this game because it looked like a bunch of other low-effort montamer games on steam. The pictures and trailers really don't do this game justice.
Looks like they should make it so if you skip you can regenerate some energy it's a risk reward move that would help I feel like. I do like the art & think it looks like it has potential.
Doesnt matter it all originates from the original creation consumers are allowed to pretend to feel however they want about it doesnt change the reality 👍🏾
OIr having monsters, or humans in a game, or text boxes, and dialoge, having a story, don't forget having grass and trees, they will also sue bc I heard the devs drink water while developing the game and Nintendo owns the exclusive rights to drinking water during development, I am also pretty sure this was developed on a computer and Nintendo owns the rights to computer based game development. I'm not saying they will win those suits just pointing out what Nintendo is willing to sue for
18:20 Consumables being the only way to get energy back in battle is a deal breaker. I hate that. Regular attack or skipping a turn should regenerate energy.
the game do have that feature, but it's from the passive skills. After equipping a skill of that type (Stance skill type), skipping a turn will regen Energy points
To be honest, im kind of tired of games trying to be cute type visuals im still waiting for monster taming game, that instead of treating your monsters like friends, pets, they re treated like creatures that can easily kill their own tamer if he sleeps too much would be cool a monster taming game dealing with cratures like mahoraga, at least for me
It would be nice if you could instantly switch out your newly caught Tomomon with one in your party. It looks like you have to head back to the Tomocentre to switch out Tomomon. Could this be done in an update?
The game looks alright to me. My main critiques: 1. My biggest issue is the writing seems super weak, and the story isn't very gripping. This could improve, but I feel like the beginning is really when you want to pull the player in. 2. The combat is a bit uninteresting, I feel like the game could really benefit from having 'defend' and 'recharge' commands to add some additional depth to combat. Beyond that having something like a friendship system between creatures that rises the more you use them together and gives them an increasing percent chance based on friendship to do a coordinated attack/skill/defend/recharge when multiple creatures use the same function would be great. Increase the effectiveness or duration of abilities. Having multiple creatures out on the field right now just seems half baked. 3. Some of the animations are a bit slow. Honestly I think just putting in speed up could fix that, since that's a feature many Pokemon gamers are familiar with. Overall I think the game has a lot of potential, but like with many games in the genre I worry that it will fail to deliver.
They have ! They are called exotic forms and you can even get items that can transform Mons to a different Color ! I think These crystals will be really rare!
You can't lawsuit mechanics, and at least final fantasy have unique monsters and gameplay. Palworld has not said what exactly is the lawsuit about, which could be design for the pals
@@thunterarche The lawsuit is apparently about patents, which means it's about gameplay mechanics(since you can't patent character designs). Honestly hoping that Nintendo & TPCi lose this one, since the alternative would be *extremely* bad for the genre, indie devs, & the industry as a whole.
@@thunterarche If you think you can't patent and sue over mechanics then you should look into why we haven't had a Nemesis system since the Mordor games.
@Moglorosh my mistake that the lawsuit is in Japan and they handle it differently l, because in the US and Europe it's really hard or you just can't sue in that way
I'm guessing English is not the dev's first language? There are a lot of grammar and syntax errors... word salad aside the story doesn't make a whole lot of sense. They put you through 15 minutes of info dumping nonsense with no context just to dump you in a very standard looking pokemon clone... Idk if this one is for me tbh
Yea I just read that. Apparently it isn't a copy right issue but a patent suit. Meaning that Nintendo isn't suing for character design but because they feel the game mechanics are too similar in some way. Though we don't know exactly which way yet. Meaning that if they win other games will be at risk depending on what the game mechanic they are trying to keep souly for themselves is. And people are celebrating this fact. 😮💨
not bad, WAAAAYY too much text at the start, you usually want gameplay first then text second to reel players in. A bit too aesthetic ngl, the art design is not my cup of tea
Accidentally taking the starter is hilarious
The Yu-Gi-Oh game being referenced is Forbidden Memories for the PS1, which actually takes place in ancient Egypt.
Game: trying to be cute
Ed to NPCs: You suck! Your mom is easy
that specific ygo game is forbidden memories, opens exact same way.
if pokemon wins this patent lawsuit this could change all monster catching game like Nexomon 3 Azur promilia
Since TH-cam apparently won't stop hiding and/or deleting my *very* relevant comment, I'll just say I agree with your sentiment.
Idk about the other two, but nexomon doesn't use balls, so they might be chilling

I think the UI looks super low effort and an updated AI would go very far.
I bought after taming direct!! Love it
Just started work, but im hype af yo hit this up in my watch later list tonight! Love the community and channel here
This looks pretty interesting. I'm looking forward to seeing more.
30:03 That is 100% Joey with his top tier... Sqeck?
added to wishlist, thanks for putting this game on my radar.
I'm gonna binge watch this series like I binge watch cassette beasts.
You know that starter is oozing with confidence when the trainer that chose him's reaction is "Oh no, I took him!" 🤣
I hope the dev changes the beginning dialogue from timer to click button, cause not everyone can read that fast.
2:06 Right before you said that I thought "looks like forbidden memories".

i respected the commitment to reading the laugh at the beginning, subscribed
“I know everything”
“I need some data”
Hmm. Not be nit picky but I want to be with that
Been waiting to play this one glad to see you finally playing this is gonna be good!
I thought we agree not to call monster taming "pokemon-like"
Especially how Nintendo has been looking for any reason to slap a lawsuit
@@kevingaray5223 we agreed not to call them 'clones' nothing wrong with being 'like Pokemon'. Let's see what happens with the lawsuit first
