Sharing does not work:
Solution:
Make sure the sharing device and the recipient device is on the same region. Go to profile --> settings -->Region , here choose the same region. for example if the sharing device is on Nepal, choose region as nepal for recipient device. I hope this helps someone out there.

No regions option anymore. Does not work
I've done this but it still doesn't work, getting too frustrating...
I am doing the same but when I enter the mi account or phone number, it says can't find the user.
I've been trying for over a month to share my camera with another device using the exactly same method. The other device does not receive the invitation. What could be the issue here?

@@cameratuyhoa Didnt work too. Other device didnt receive the invitation and the main device said "invitation sent" but still pending..
I have been trying to do this using account ID, email and phone and its not working
@@ainaraisasi9994 complete the mi home settings, and and then change your region into China Mainland (This is a must for pairing). Refresh. Check the messages again. Hope this works.

@@cameratuyhoa i did remove the account. But strangely mr brother whom i shared the device can still full access and control over the camera, evebthough his account does not appear in my phone
