I was over at my uncle's, and up in his shed their was a P 51 in his shed.I asked him if it runs,and he said no,I asked him if he wants to get rid of it,and he said he will think about it.If he does get rid of it,I will get it for you. It's all together, just alittle dirty!

I think I seen buckin fire that salep on the tailgate after he got the fuel cap off that took them like 20 minutes she smoked pretty good but Mr Harvey as always thank you for your time your knowledge I know half the people on here definitely support you and I love watching you so does my son he thought that was pretty cool Santa Claus in a front end loader... and I just got one of my flywheels back they went and welded some luminum thins on for me ground them down and balanced it for $55 which I thought was pretty good because the cheapest one I found was 115 keep on making them videos just as fast as you make them is just as fast as I get to watch them I get bored waiting just playing look forward to this weekend have a good Friday..
Great content mate and some interesting points I loved how you mentioned a yz250 hitting hard I use to race and they sure hit hard but I couldn't help my self and changed reeds and made a adjustable power valve arm to adjust when the power band hit and some other stuff and we'll it went from hitting hard to just plain silly haha .keep up awesome work and have a great Christmas to you and your family.

Harvey you been busy lately catching up on saws.. I never operated a chainsaw with reeds and that would be pretty cool cuz you can do a lot with some reeds.. thank you mr. Harvey for the videos
Wonderful content; lovely to watch! Your experience with these beautiful old Canadian muscle saws is tremendous... I just finished a project P51; here's some pics: www.arboristsite.com/community/threads/pioneer-chainsaws.70698/page-720#post-7116722 My P51 Notes: - Funny; my P51 barn find (circa 1983?) also had a busted up flywheel. Believe the blower cover tangled with it, as it was also damaged. Kevin at Rottman fixed me up with parts. - Mine came with a steel reed (and the NOS replacement reed block also has a steel reed). Was fiber also OEM? - Believe you may have a "Western" P51 muffler there, which perhaps should be partnered with a "Western" clutch cover (so exhaust can exit properly). Believe the P51 "Western" set up typically.used with full wrap. The "Western" clutch cover also doubles as a muffler guard, I think - My muffler exits to lower front side; the muffler can separates into two halves, with a loose internal center plate carrying three standoff tubes (for the attachment screws). My center plate has rectangular exhaust passage ~ 80% size of cylinder exhaust port/flange. Mine shows signs of removed spark arrestor screen. I couldn't imagine "modding" it to be any better breathing (though maybe you're leaning towards a tuned expansion chamber for yours?) - Yeah; the mag air gap is 0.030" (huge) IIRC, for the two leading poles; the third will have a wider gap yet. And - those blue Prestolite coils are flaky and hard to find. I baked and sealed mine Can'r wait for the next P51 episode!
