3:50 the ghost one is really simple, basically those cameras stay on a static image until something moves, and then it only updates the part of the image with movement while the rest stays as the original static photo. The reason the person in the video is phasing in and out of existence is because they’re far away, it’s dark, they’re wearing dark clothes against a dark backdrop (you can only see them walking against the brighter coloured fence), and the camera is having a hard time picking up any movement. also because they are a ghost :)
@@RexAlmen yeah I’m pretty sure that’s it. there’s a really cool series of videos on the corridor crew channel where they debunk ghost and alien videos using their VFX knowledge. They’re really good videos and I highly recommend them!
Always try not to get "messy", that said I really hope the guy ordering burgers ( protein hmMM? trying to sober up?) made it home safely. I just felt for him as he was so polite. Even touched "the mic" in a nice, it's ok thanks anyway.
About the snake bite as someone whos been bitten (non venomous of course) for me at least its teeth were so sharp i actually didnt feel it and only really noticed because i was bleeding
There's ayoutuber I used to watch that had snakes and she said the only time a bite started to hurt was when one of the young ones had latched onto her and wouldn't let go, so it was hurting from her moving her hand and just the length of time and it didn't really leave any lasting damaged as she cleaned her hand and you really couldn't tell it happened.
All these "ghosts" caught on doorbell cameras are just people or animals moving too quickly for the camera to pick up clearly. In order to save on storage, a doorbell camera will stop recording and only show a still image until motion is detected. This means that if motion is suddenly detected after a while of the image being still It may take some extra time for the camera to pick up the movement and load in all the pixels. This can cause trails and semi transparent "apparitions".
13:36 bc you don’t use your shoulder to break down a door, you step back and kick the area near the door handle (demonstrated by a fire fighter who was teaching us how to break down a locked door). You’re welcome, future cat burglars😂
Honestly the lady responding "we're closed" is pretty clever. It can be WAY too involved to try and pull someone in a high down to reality and honestly that drug addict looked like a fairly mellow dude. Reasonably responded to 'we're closed'. I hope he got help or gets some help from someone for his addiction.
I find the man absolutely banging on the door in the bright apartment to be comedic. Also the way the zombie just flops over on the banister in that other part just gets me
In high school, I had very close friends that I always allowed to show up unannounced to my house. One day I was already hanging with one of them and another friend shows up and pulls out his phone flashlight and shines it at my window and starts screaming bloody murder. Possibly the most paralyzing fear I've ever been in, but now it's hilarious.
Good reminder that if you own your own place or have an open line of communication with your landlord, swap out your 1” brace screws for 4” ones in your door. Unless it’s made of basal wood, no one is kicking that down
Those poor elderly ladies most likely just have some mental issues and looking for help. Second almost definitely has a dementia b the look on her face. And dementia is very frightening. There's a movie called Unknown Visitor that's a horror movie that is all on doorbell cam if anyone is interested The guy in the creepy mask and latex gloves looks kinda like the antagonist of the horror movie called Hush. It's a movie about a home invasion. The redbox one...maybe a lady with a creepy mask pushed up so it's on her head and not covering her face?

I had a deranged ill neighbor try to kick my front door in 3 times just 4 years ago. I'm not paranoid if I lock my door and have a camera. People that refuse to lock their doors are in denial. Anyone making stupid choices eventually has it catch up with them... really just lock the doors and buy a $100 camera. You spend more on Starbucks than you do security.
There are good reasons to get cameras on the inside of your house. Especially if you have children (and doubly so if you don’t fully trust your kid’s friends).
4:58 looks like a very specific bug to me. quite a few tiger moths, which are pretty common worldwide, have inflatable scent glands on the ends of their abdomens that look similar to that. it would explain why it happened at night, and how it could have been clinging to a thin fence. if this was during the spring or summer (which it sounds like based on the sounds of frogs/bugs in the background) it would make even more sense. idk i might be wrong but that's what it looked like to me lol
