That Wolverine issue with Shatterstar, Wolverine #56, its actually written by Fabian Nicieza w/fill-in artist, so its to give Hama and Silvestri breathing room with twice a month deal. IF you look at #55 and then #57, the story folds into each issue, so you can clearly see that #56 is filler that doesn't happen between those two issues.
I just read this one for the first time a few months ago, been trying to catch up on the 90's stuff that i missed. I really dislike the Boom Boom character, and i hate any costume Havok has ever worn except his original black one...this one looks like Booster Gold lol. Good overview of the comic.

Greg Capullo was always great but his recent work on Wolverine Revenge kinda left me disappointed.
