wow hat festival is so awesome, I love the vibe there and the clothing is beautiful also. Diwali is a big hit here in Australia also so much colour and great food is served here aswell. Thanks for sharing girl.
One of the most popular stories associated with Diwali is that of Lord Rama's return to Ayodhya after spending 14 years in exile. According to the ancient epic Ramayana, Rama, the prince of Ayodhya, was sent into exile by his father, King Dasharatha, due to the scheming of his stepmother Kaikeyi. Hereafter, following his father’s orders, Lord Rama, accompanied by his wife Sita and brother Lakshmana, went to live away in the forests. During this time, they faced several hardships, but the one that was most difficult to deal with was the abduction of Sita by the demon king Ravana. Lord Rama was clueless as to how to rescue Sita from the shackles of Ravana. And hereupon, in a series of events, he met Hanuman and his army of monkeys, who helped Rama defeat Ravana in a fierce battle in Lanka. After defeating Ravana and rescuing Sita, Lord Rama, along with his wife (Sita) and brother (Laxmana), finally returned to Ayodhya, after 14 years of exile. Celebrating their return and the triumph of good over evil, the people of Ayodhya lit up the kingdom with earthen lamps (diyas) and lamps eliminating the darkness of evil and ignorance. And ever since then, lighting diyas during Diwali has become a tradition that continues to this day.
this will be so healthy for Alfonso to be familiar with Indian culture and food in the long-term. He'll notice the difference in various cuisines and would be interesting what he chooses😊
In india, we are celebrating diwali today, so it's 4:59 pm right now here, so we're preparing delicious food and sweets and then going to distribute to our neighbours(along with gifts), but before that we will worship of lord Ram and goodness of Laxmi (maa) means goodness Laxmi and then we will distribute sweets and gifts to our neighbours afterwords we'll play with firecrackers..... there is so much more ma'am... But thanks for spreading our culture in your respected country... Lots of love and blessings of Diwali to you or your family from India...❤❤ Happy diwali 🪔🎇🎇
Diwali is basically returning of Lord, the King Shree RAM to Ayodhaya; his home after completing 14 years of living in jungle as ordered by his 2nd mother (2nd wife of his father out of 3) as she wanted her Son to be the King of the Kingdom. Lord Shree Ram was Eldest Son & son from the 1st wife of his King father. So he went on to jungle for 14 years and 3 of his brothers from other queens also accompanied him along with his wife Mata Sita❤. During his living in the jungle, RAVANA the Lanka King kidnapped Mata Sita to his place from the jungle after which Shri Ram fought a war with Ravana & its army and killed Ravana(the Evil here) & brought back Sita from Lanka. And the day on which Lord Ram returned to Ayodhya after completing 14 years of staying in jungle is called as Diwali. Festive of lights, happiness, Joy...🎉💥💥
You have almost tried all indian favorite food but there are more to discover when you next make your journey there. There is no end to the discovery, you could even write a book on it.
You guys are just amazing and thanks for being soo kind towards my home country India❤ also Alfanso is just adorable ❤ and he is going to be an amazing person in future if he is being raised by such lovely and kind parents ❤
Diwali is the festival of Arrival of Bhagwan Ram back from 14 years of exile. That's the main reason miss. 🇮🇳☺ Lord Ram killed the demon Ravan to save Mata Sitaji from him. Hence it's Victory of good over evil and celebrated as "Vijaydashami or Dusshera" And after that when Lord Ram returns to Ayodhya and that night the people of India celebrated Diwali or Deepawali (Deep means 'Light' + Awali means 'chain of') to celebrate returning of Bhagwan. Lord Ram is India's/Bharat's Civilisational conscience. ☺ Have Shubh Diwali. Your son seems having fun. 🥰
